List of Upmc Urgent Care Wexford's Reviews
I appreciate the excellent care provided by Dr. David Figucia and the team. My experience was exceptionally positive. Dr. Figucia demonstrated efficiency, thoroughness, and competence. I wholeheartedly recommend this practice.
I was called back exactly at my appointment time. The staff listened to my issue and were efficient in diagnosis and treatment. Definitely not the wait forever approach I've experienced at other urgent care facilities.
Apparently they are now accepting appointments so when you walk in with a sick kid because the doctors office doesn't have same day appts, you get passed over and sit with your sick kid forever.
I would not recommend this place. I came in yeasterday with clear signs of a sinus infection, Teeth pain, face pain, irritation of the eyes, sore throat, and coughing. When I first went back the nursing assistant (she was an older lady) was very rude to me. Her tone was not one of which a nurse should have. When I was taking my COVID test which is recommended she was staring at me and telling I’m not doing it right and that I needed to squeeze my nose. I did not feel comfortable with how she was talking to me. She didn’t even feel my face for pain. She never diagnosed me with a sinus infection or ever looked at my face nose or ears. My COVID test was negative. Then proceeded to give me mouth wash to help with my sore throat. Knowing that i had more wrong with me that she refused to consider, I went to another urgent care who treated me kindly and with respect. When the doctor walked into the room he tapped on my face looked at my ears, eyes, nose, and throat, and said my throat doesn’t look that bad but I clearly had a sinus infection. Not only does this lady have bad bed side manners, but they didn’t listen to what I had to say and diagnose me properly. I would not go here.
Was seen quickly, all of the staff was very friendly and helpful.
it's better to die than to come here
I came in at 7:30 p.m. It was close to close but I was not well at all and really needed to speak to someone. I walked in and before I could say anything and before I could get three feet past the door, the desk person said: "we're not seeing any more patients; we're at capacity". At this time there were three cars on the lot. The lady didn't ask what the problem was. I had been crying a lot. My eyes were very red and puffy. If she had taken a single moment, she would clearly see that I was very distraught. It took everything I had in me to get up to seek help. If she had only asked. I have a feeling, though, that it would not have mattered anyway. I called when I got home to ask why patients were being turned away when they weren't closed. It took a while to get through all the recordings. I made a wrong selection and the recording started all over again. I finally just clicked any number that I thought would get me to a live person. The person that answered the phone said there were 8 people being cared for. Again, the lot had three cars. Was there a team brought in those three cars? The waiting room was empty. She said they were seeing for emergencies. I said she (desk person) never even asked what was wrong. I was simply turned away. The person asked what I went there for. I told her I was very distraught and said the desk person, if she even would give a moment, would have seen I had been crying a lot and that I really needed someone to talk to. She said I could come back. But by the time I would go back the place would be closed. This place is the worst.
Very slow service
Great service. Great doctor.
Worst experience, would never go again. Went here for a covid test with an appointment and was waiting for more than an hour to be seen. And, the staff were just chatting and having a good time and there were a queue of cars waiting to be seen.and they had wrong phone numbers displayed everywhere on their door to let them know that am waiting for a covid test. It is definitely not an urgent care, its sloth care!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
