The therapy for my plantar fasciitis at Elm Tree in White Mills was exceptional. Kristina used multiple therapies on me, including scraping, therapy gun and core workouts. She taped my heel which gave me relief from the pain and allowed me to stop limping. The exercises she gave to do at home continued my healing process. What impressed me the most was the caring attitude she showed me and the attention she gave to my symptoms of pain. I am well on my way to full relief.

I had rotator cuff and labrum repair surgery in 2018 and due to inadequate physical therapy post-surgery, I developed a frozen shoulder early 2019. I had an EMG test which showed that I have nerve damage of the long thoracic nerve/serratus anterior muscle. After seeing multiple physical therapists, my primary care doctor suggested that I continue to schedule appts with physical therapists until I find the “right one for me” and so I started with Elm Tree at the end of 2020. My physical therapist at Elm Tree is Kristina DeMarco, and over the last 6 months, she has helped strengthen my shoulder, core, legs, etc., so much more than all the therapists since 2019!! Kristina thinks outside the box, and she creates exercises to strengthen different muscles of my body which ultimately assist in the strengthening of my shoulder. She listens very carefully when I tell her which parts of my shoulder hurt and which areas of my life that are affected by the weakness in my shoulder. She also pays close attention to me while I perform the exercises to ensure that I am doing them properly. Overall, Kristina is a skilled, caring physical therapist who is genuinely concerned with seeing her patients’ bodies heal properly and recover to their full potential.
