I’ve been under Dr. Pinckney’s care for 10 years. Each visit is a also pleasure and both he and his staff are thoughtful, kind, and professional. During a recent visit his PA, Michelle Mostowy, was very thorough and cognizant to my acute symptoms. Utilizing her judgment and experience, (and based on a focused physical exam), she ordered blood tests and imaging that led to my ultimate diagnosis, treatment, and positive outcome. To say that I’m pleased with the care I receive from Dr. Pinkney and his entire team would be an understatement. From the nurses, phlebotomist, check-in & check-out the6 are all remarkable!

Over a year ago, my personal physician retired. Dr. Steven Pinckney to the rescue. He is more than a good doctor. He is a healer. He is knowledgeable of medications, benefits and side effects, but has an open mind to other means to improve the health of the people under his care. After six months on insulin I was not seeing the reduction I needed to improve my overall health. Dr. Pinckney suggested that I read a book written by Jason Fung - The Diabetic Code. It outlined the dietary way to treat diabetes. This book is a must read for anyone with a diabetic condition. THANK YOU DR. PINCKNEY!

Dr. Pinckney has been my primary care physician for many years. On two occasions, he was very thorough and used his extensive medical and scientific knowledge to treat two medical conditions I was experiencing. What was so important to me was that he could fix me when two other "specialists" could not. Specifically, after months of discomfort he made the proper diagnosis and I got better after he prescribed the most useful medication(s). Additionally, Dr. Pinckney has a tremendous way of making you feel that your in good hands and that he cares about you as a person not a condition. That is a rare thing to see and experience in medicine today.

I was scorned for taking my children to the ER by the nurse we saw when I had the follow up appointment the ER told us to make that my children's mother didn't make after not following the prescribed treatment for our children and told it was "a gross misuse of emergency services." I will be following up to file a former complaint about said nurse and the treatment I received from their office.

Praise God for directing our paths in the way we should go because he led me to Dr. Pinckney about a year and a half ago. After 20 years of struggling with type 2 diabetes Dr. Pinckney is the only physician who took the time to motivate me and assist me in becoming educated about this insidious disease, as a result of becoming educated I have had great success in reversing the effects of type 2 diabetes and have lost 60 pounds. Thank you Lord for directing me to Dr. Pinckney.

On a recent visit with the Pinckney family, his father, Fred, experienced a bout of overwhelming vertigo. Dr. Pinckney knew exactly how to handle Mr. Pinckney’s emergency episode. It was a pre-physical visit to get to know the Doctor. He answered my questions and concerns and I look forward to future visits.

Right off the bat he told me that my medicine wasn't good and he prescribed a different one without even telling me that no insurance covers this particular medicine I was not happy at all. All said and done between the pharmacy and his office I'm back to the same medicine that I was taking to begin with. I felt like a school child being lectured to I didn't appreciate that either.
