Timothy Reekie's Online Review Report Card

Dr Reekie is a caring doctor that takes the time to really listen and takes all complaints seriously. Dr Reekie is an outstanding diagnostician. I feel listened to and am treated as a real partner in my health care. The staff are all professional and warm in their approach to all their patients.

Both of my parents are recent patients. He has been fine as their doctor; however, the office staff is very unprofessional. My elderly father had an appointment in a nursing home where Dr. Reekie goes directly to their apartment. The doctor never showed for the appointment as the office staff never put it on his schedule. Also, when calling for approvals for procedures, the staff says they are working on it and NEVER send it even after several phone calls requesting it. The person who had to cancel my dad's procedures for a second time due to the approval not being sent told me this is a frequent issue with Dr. Reekie's office. When I called to make sure his third appointment didn't get canceled due to an approval not being sent again, the girl told me she is very busy as it is office hours and she can't work on the approval at that time. What??? We called several times and gave plenty of time to do it. This was 2 days before the procedure when they had more than two weeks to do it. And, the girl (I know her name but won't post it here) was very rude to me. Please don't work at a doctor's office if you you get annoyed when people need items required for procedures. I am beyond disappointed in our experience with this office.

We moved away but still go to him. He is knowledgeable and kind. Ot is my opinion that he saved my husband's life by pushing more to determine why his neck was swollen. All specialists missed the Hodgkins Lymphoma. Because of him, we caught it very early.

Dr. Reekie is a great doctor. My experience with him was always patient and kind. However the front desk had a reputation for being rude. I remember a time when I did not have my co-pay and was asked what I was doing with a cell phone. #smh

Dr. Reekie has been my family physician since 1984. My mom transferred me to his practice once I outgrew Chestnut Hill Pediatrict Group.😎 Excellent diagnostician & listener. He doesn’t shove you through even if he is busy! I will be very sad & lost when he decides to retire.

Dr Reekie really cares, takes time, asks questions and doesn't rush to the next patient. He is very knowledgeable about drugs, side effects, etc. He is excellent at diagnosis and treatment. Love him!

Okay, but irrelevant. If I would need to see a doctor I couldn't get an appointment for weeks. I was told to go to an urgent care. I called to get the results of my mammogram and dex scan 4 days ago. They posted that they were in even prior to that. So, I've actually been waiting upwards of 96 hrs. to here from him. I called again today. but still waiting. This is shameful. I don't feel like I have a doctor at all.

Dr.reeke is not patient friendly, always running hours behind, very unprofessional

Tim has been my general practitioner for 30 years or more. He's a caring man who takes the time to listen and consider patient input. Having worked in healthcare for 40 years I've met and liked many physicians but, only a few I would trust with watching after my well being. Dr. Reekie is tops.

The worst staff. They are rude and incompetent. Wait times are at least 45 minutes or more.
