Jennifer Smith's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Smith lacks compassionate care. I was struggling with postpartum anxiety and depression and cried over the phone and she asked "what are you crying about?" in a robotic unempathetic way. Ma'am, I just gave birth, I am sleep deprived, my hormones are all over the place, my body is healing, my mind is not mine and you ask why Im crying on my phone to my doctor? She barely remembers who you are as a patient - even if you had just spoken to her a few days ago. I understand that due to covid many clinics are seeing patients via telemedicine, but for some issues like postpartum, she should see patients in person but she refuses to do so. Getting an appointment with her is nearly impossible (the admins will give you a time days later) and even when she calls, they don't give you an appointment slot it's just "please be available between 10-2" ummm...do I not have anything better to do than sit around for my doctor to call me for four hours? Dr. Smith is truly just in it for the money. She doesn't really care about her patients. I don't recommend her as a family physician at all.

I have been a patient of Dr. Smith for over 10 years and cannot say enough about how great she is. On Friday I had a serious adverse reaction to medication prescribed by another doctor. That doctor's office never called me back, but Dr. Smith office stepped in to save the day and Dr. Smith worked me into a 5:30 PM appointment Friday afternoon! She is tops! Not only is she an excellent doctor, but she really cares about her patients and wasn't going to leave me unattended over the weekend.

This lady fat shames. Every problem she will blame on your weight regardless of what it is and will not further investigate!!! Unbelievable. AVOID at malvern medical.

Dr Smith listens to me and takes the time to understand my concerns. I do not want to take prescription drugs if I can achieve the same results through diet and exercise and she respects this. She is up to date with relevant diet and medical information, which she shares with me. She has referred me to very good specialists. I never miss my annual check-up and am up to date on all my "shots", thanks to Dr Smith. I would not consider changing doctors.

I have been a patient of Dr Smith from the mid 90s. Over 15 years. She is knowledgeable and patient. Her advice is helpful and proactive to keep you healthy. I would rather have comprehensive truthful care than a rushed doctor who misses testes etc. Dr Smith is a great family physician. Bonus if you prefer a female doctor for yearly check ups. A good listener too!

saw this dr. at a walk in clinic recently. Hands down the worst medical experience of my life. She was physically aggressive - made me feel stupid and had absolutely no empathy to my extreme pain in the moment. Absolutely horrible

I was very disappointed after my experience with Dr. Smith. She is a very unkind person and obviously cares more about the money in the job than the patient and what's in his/her best interests. There are many other amazing physicians in this office so unless you're in a bind, I would definitely advise against seeing her.

Has been my doctor for 19 years. I find her very thorough and a great listener. She does counseling and is great at it. She does not come across as a super friendly doctor but she is very interested in ones health and that is what is important. I have moved out of the city but have travelled for 5 years as I did not want to change doctors. I am getting older and can’t take the winter driving anymore and must find a new doctor. Hope I find one as great as Dr Smith.

Dr. Smith! what can I say about her, she is one of the best family doctors I have seen in a while, I am a patient for over 18 yrs and the only complain I have is, she sometimes late, however while I am waiting on her, I notice other doctors taking patients quick quick its like a revolving door, I sometimes wonder if these doctors are all about there patients or the money, I rather wait on dr. smith because I know she take lots of time with her patient and do not rush you out of her office, or quick on writing prescriptions and that's one of the reason I will always be her patient. Dr. Smith listen and advice her patient on how to use natural remedy rather to fill them up on drugs with all sort of side effects.

I have been seeing Dr Smith for about 10 years and she has been absolutely consistent over that time period. I trust her to manage my health and she has never let me down. What some people take as a poor bedside manner is actually a perfectly neutral professionalism. She is not there to sympathize, her job is to find the problem and get you on the best course of action as quickly as possible. My only minor annoyance is her unwillingness to refill prescriptions by phone, but on the plus side she is using those 6 month refill cycles as an opportunity to see her patient in person to confirm their condition, which is probably a good practice.
