Nemours Children's Health System's Online Review Report Card

I used to love Nemours. Their nurses were very prompt. Now that they’ve moved to Villanova getting through their phone lines is a miracle. I’ve been trying to call since the start of day and now it’s the end of day they still haven’t returned my calls. This is very frustrating.

So today I had the worst experience at Nemours. I had been bringing my now 15 year old here for over a decade. I have a 1 year old now and of course I had to bring her for blood work. The nurse was so rough and aggressive with my daughter. It was like she was more concerned with drawing her blood than she was keeping her comfortable. It got to the point I had to yell at her to let go of my daughters hand because when I asked nicely she didnt let go. Unfortunately I will be looking for a new pediatrician. The nurses need new training on being gentle and perhaps culture training as well. I normally dont get into black vs white though its a predominantly white atmosphere which never bothered me obviously because I was there for a decade but these new nurses are unacceptable.

Dr. Fanelli is great. I enjoy this practice but only with Dr. Fanelli.

I am a new patient and before my daughter’s first well visit I had a medical concern. I called and left a voicemail and a nurse called me back within the hour. She was helpful kind and really listened to me. Each time I’ve called from trying to get her in to sorting out her medical records I have had such a wonderful experience. Both times a man has answered the phone and been warm professional and clearly knows what he is doing. It’s been such a relief to know she will be in good hands. I had a very bad experience with another pediatrician office in the past so this is very important to me.The first impressions have been enough to leave a 5 star review already. thank you for putting me at ease

Best front desk 2 females and a male currently. Nurse is amazing with her prompt response. Dr Bollaman and Dr McMohan are true gem.

We’ve been taking our children to Nemours DuPont Pediatrics in Villanova for over 3 years and have had a great experience throughout that time. Staff is responsive and helpful the nurses are wonderful and the doctors take their time to provide excellent care. The facility is also very new colorful and clean. Even though it’s a bit of a drive for us it’s well worth it.

We have now had 3 doctors appointments here with our newborn. The doctors and staff have been great really top notch. Our only complaint is that the wait time is crazy. The first two appointments we had a 30 minute wait then another 20+ minutes waiting for the doctor in the exam room. Our last visit we didnt see a doctor until 1 hour and 15 minutes after our scheduled appointment time. We are weighing our options on switching to another pediatrician as the wait time is just crazy. Im not sure if this is the norm at all pediatrician offices but who would ever want to wait over an hour to see a doctor for a scheduled appointment with a week old baby?

Very professional and friendly

The wait times are crazy. I work in healthcare and know that sometimes the schedule gets backed up but EVERY time we’ve been there it’s been over an hour. Not sure if it is just our doctor but it makes the whole experience very stressful with an infant and a 3 year old. We came from another practice when we moved from the city and the wait was never an issue at the previous pediatrician. I would’ve given one star except for the fact that the front desk staff and nurses are so wonderful.

My child has a bone injury. After the registration clerk pulled up our information to see “who he was” I was told that it would be August 29 before he can see any doctor regarding the injury. It is still July. We are established patients. Who makes a child wait over a month to see a doctor for a potentially broken bone. Unprofessional Perhaps I should have marked “white” as his race when doing paperwork at his last appointment for better assistance.
