Dr Monath followed up beyond my initial care and found a solution to my condition.

I recently had a prostate biopsy performed by Dr. Monath. I had heard horror stories from family members who had the procedure done at other centers and they described how painful the procedure is. I'm please to say, I didn't have that experience with Dr. Monath. He clearly has vast experience and knows what he's doing. Pain during the procedure and post-op was minimal and he sampled enough areas to make a complete diagnosis. He was available to answer all of my questions during follow-up.

This was my first appt with this facility. Felt like I was just a number. Took me back 10 minutes after my appt time. The nurse that checked me in was fabulous and wonderful. Doctor came in and immediately went for the rubber gloves to perform the prostate exam. Doctor had ABSOLUTELY no personality. Didn't feel he wanted to hear anything I had to say or want to hear the information I had to give him. Didn't seem interested in addressing my questions or concerns. No review of my health history. Didn't fully explain why ordering labs and additional procedures. Felt like he didn't want to be in the room with me. Doctor spent maybe just over 5 minutes with me. Check out staff was slow and spent more time complaining about things to each other than checking people out when there was quite a line. Medication was not called in. Lab sheet not given to me at check out. As a healthcare professional, extremely disappointed with this experience. Will be seeking a new urologist.
