I have never been treated SO poorly by a medical professional in my life! I was verbally attacked via phone call, by Mary, the RN in this office. I had called in regards to extreme back pain, for my husband, to be rudely greeted with a condescending attitude and extremely snarky remarks, when I was only trying to seek help from our medical professionals. Mary was extremely out of line, coming from a person who has worked in the medial field herself, and should be REMOVED from her position immediately. Her demeanor was extremely inappropriate, unprofessional and uncalled for. This is no way to treat patients and no way to make them feel. We will be switching offices ASAP. Mary refused to give me the number for a back specialist, as I was told by her that I can "google" it, just as she could. Told me that I didn't prioritize calling, stating "well if you didn't wait until now to call, you could have been seen sooner, but now I don't know what they're going to do" (it was only lunch time and this is the first chance I had to call with a young toddler at home). Assumed my husband should be working from home and taking time off of work if he was in "that much pain" (as if "everyone" has this option). Told me if I was looking for pain killers, this was not the place. Not one time did I mention anything regarding this topic. Mary also refused to address an ongoing health issue that I had also been calling about, stating this issue (has been going on for a few years) was only due to the back pain and refused to discuss it any further with me. Horrible healthcare, and no one deserves to be treated this way.

Listens, real people answer the phone, follows up well, reserves time daily for you to call in to access him if you are sick for an appointment.
Dr. O'Rourke is a bright guy who listens and takes time with his patients. I switched to him, upon being prescribed cholesterol and high blood pressure meds by my last guy. He listened to my plan and I monitored my progress with lab work. Upped exercise regime and have stuck to it and no meds at 73. I basically used the data and recommendations from the American Heart Assn. before not taking the meds.
I have been seeing Dr. O'Rourke for a long time, and he is a superb diagnostician. If I have any complaint, it would be that the patient-doctor dialog could be more productive if he spent a little more time questioning and listening rather than offering information that is already familiar to the patient.
Always takes the time to understand you and your situation.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
