List of Jillian M. Ventuzelo's Reviews
Dr. Jillian is such a breathe of fresh air in the confusing medical community today. She takes time to understand what you are feeling and asks questions that helps her come to helpful conclusions. Most importantly she listen to hear what is happen, rather than to make quick judgements. Dr. Jillian looks at the near, medium and long term setting goals and expectations that are explained well and she looks for ways to help make them happen. She is not a push over though. She doesn't fluff everything to make it "all good" when there is a serious condition that needs attention. She works through it with great "bedside manner" and firm understanding. So glad Dr. Jillian is in my life.
She is TRULY the Devil. She treated my BLACK severely AUTISTIC Son horrifically. Due to her Medical Negligence my Son went 3 weeks with NO MEDS...due to her refusal to contact HERSELF the insurance Company as they were requesting SPECIFIC information that only She would know. Information I myself gave 3 times to Staff in detail. She had her Office Assistant and Office Manager do it for her and his approval was denied 3times and a Peer to Peer denied because She refused to talk to the Insurance Company herself. She knew how badly he was suffering and could care less. Then tried to list all his other Specialists that could/should help him even though NONE OF THEM are his Primary Doctor. Then we contact them and they say she CAN HELP HIM she chooses not to because she is UNCOMFORTABLE because she is a Doctor who only feels comfortable doing the bare minimum. Truly a horrible Human Being to know a Child is suffering and do nothing when she knows she can. She was reported to the Pa Attorney General's Office and the State Board Bureau of Occupational License Compliance Medical License Devision to investigate her conduct. I encourage others to do the same. Our Families deserve better.
She started out great, very attentive, very compassionate, but things changed drastically! I became ill on Mother's Day and was feeling ill for about 3 weeks. I made an appointment to see her, she asked me a few questions about how I was feeling, and just basically said, "hmmm, well drink some propel to rehydrate". That was it. No suggestion of blood work, etc to see what was going on. After not being able to eat/drink anything for about 3 weeks, I became very concerned about causing some permanent damage to my kindeys as I was barely urinating or anything as I wasn't able to even drink much of anything! My daughter suggested going to Infusion center at the hospital for IV fluids to rehydrate quickly. She had experienced this before, went to IV hydration, left 2 hours later feeling great! I called Dr V to request she set this up for me so I could feel better sooner rather than later. I had to leave a message as I am assuming she was seeing patients. I voiced my concerns about kidney damage, etc to the person taking the message to the Dr. I waited and waited, about 2 days later still heard nothing from anyone about this. I ended up calling a different doctor who ordered blood work the next day, got results back in 2 days and found I had several vitamin and mineral levels in my body were really off, out of whack from being sick. This DR sent in orders for the supplements that I needed, and within 2 days of taking those supplements, I was back to normal. I ended up calling Dr V's office/business manager, filing a complaint for no call back when I thought I was in a pretty serious health situation. Low and behold, the next morning I get a call from Dr V, and she right away had attitude. I asked her why no one called me back on this and she did not even acknowledge my question to her. Again, she asked me the same questions she had asked me about a week and a half ago in her off. Again she mentioned propel, pedialite. She said, "I never heard of the infusion center idea", that's not something that we have ever done. Again, I asked, so why couldn't someone from your office call me and tell me that so I could seek out help somewhere else? Again, she didn't even show me the courtesy or respect of even acknowleding my question. At that moment, I knew I no longer wanted this person as my doctor. The next day I found myself a new doctor, and called Dr V's office back and cancelled my appointment for the next week and told them I was leaving the practice, that I no longer wanted them to represent me and my healthcare, and advised them exactly why I was leaving their practice. I do not recommend this doctor as if something doesn't go the way she wants it, you get blown off and your health care becomes unimportant to her.
She takes the time to answer any questions and help you
Great Doctor, she listens to you, never in a rush, I travel 45 mins just to see her.
Refused to write me a letter for my landlord and I advised her that I’m going to try natural remedies. She ignored my request and still update more of my prescription to the pharmacy on her computer.
Highly recommend Dr. Ventuzelo.
Dr. Ventuzelo is sweet, she's compassionate, and gives you the time of day to listen to your issues. I've really appreciated getting to discuss with her different SSRIs and contraceptives of consideration: she's very knowledgeable. I've only been to her a few times since moving to Berks County but have (unofficially) made her my PCP! Her office also offers virtual health appointments with a wide range of urgent care docs- it's just missing her which is sad.
I seen Dr Ventuzenlo for a wound to my foot. She took extra time to look at the wound and talk about the issue. And went above and beyond to get answers quickly. For meeting her for the first time I really trust her and would highly recommend her.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
