My Blood Pressure has been 180-190 and I’m a paitent of Dr Shusterman. I was in the hospital for a week and they could not bring it down. After speaking with my primary doctor it was agreed that I call Shusterman and explain why oneee if it’s a Cpap issue. The brilliant people in the office said that since I haven’t been there in over a year I have to wait two weeks for an appointment. I could be dead by then. They suggested I go to an urgent care even though I’ve been in a hospital for a week.. This staff is ridiculous and even life threatening. Don’t go there. They are beyond morons.

I was having an emergency of extreme bleeding from my nose and wanted some advice what to do about using my CPAP that the Dr Shusterman had prescribed The Office said I had not been to the office for 4 years so I am no longer an active patient and would have to wait 4 weeks for an appointment until someone would talk to me .I begged to talk to someone for help and they said no one would talk to help me at the practice but Tim the manager would call me back which never happened.I am sharing this story for others to be aware of the lack of humanity and care that this practice has for a non active patient or anyone who may need some help

"The multiple office staff errors were annoying, but when he wrote me a prescription for a travel CPAP that resulted in the machine being set incorrectly (and differently than he set my main machine) it was time to find a new sleep doctor. Too many mistakes."

He is the ultimate pulmonary doctor. You may have to wait to see him, but he and his team are worth any length of wait. It also helps that he is very personal and very easy to talk to.

I just waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for an appointment that lasted 1 minute and 45 seconds. No explanation and only a very perfunctory apology. Staff provided no information in response to my "how much longer" inquiry.
