List of Stephen M Lindsay's Reviews
VERY Unprofessional. Had a Gun in the Examination Room Under His Lab Coat. NEVER Going Back
Bedside manner is great, He listens and addresses all my concerns at each visit and responds to any Rx request in a very timely manner. 10/10!
Just moved to new practice in York. VERY Unprofessional. Little medical knowledge. More interested in discussing fishing and hitting on me.
Very Poor Communication
My experience with Dr Lindsey would most definitely cost him his license. After seeing 5 different doctors & specialists at Hoag for a very rare condition, I finally had my appointment with Dr Lindsey. I’ve also spent the greater part of the last month doing research and educating myself. My primary doctor had ordered an MRI for Dr Lindsey to have prior to our consult. Fast forward to my appointment. After Dr Lindsey provided me a lot of FALSE information about my condition, I asked if he had seen my MRI or CT scan. I could tell he had not. He admitted that he had not prepared and then began reviewing the report but had no computer to look at the imaging. He was not aware of the facts of my condition and therefore was giving me bad information. I professionally & calmly questioned his lack of preparedness and he lost it. I barely said much after that. He said he was transferring me to UCI, he said “I could care less if I’m your doctor or not” He proceeded to say that if he’s my doctor I’ll just “end up suing everyone”. I never said or thought such a thing, but clearly he’s been sued for his lack of competence before. I waited 4 weeks to see him and I left shaking. I simply expected a HOAG Vascular Surgeon to at least look at the CT scan and MRI & not completely BS a patient with nonsense to cover up his lack of integrity and care. This Doctor does harm!!! I am worse off for being his patient.
Unprofessional with little medical knowledge
We have seen Dr. Lindsay twice and he has been very punctual. He was very clear on my wife's condition and indicated that a procedure to increase the blood flow to her left leg was very important. He performed the procedure and got the result desired. My wife suffers from dementia and he has been very understanding of her condition and treats her with kindness and respect.
I would not be alive today were it not for this man.
I found Doctor Lindsay to be fully knowledgable, thorough, pleasant and relaxing. The derogatory guy must be one himself.
I was really upset by how unprofessional they are in front of their patients. The office staff was rude and obviously didn't care about offending anyone. I had to wait forever after I arrived for my appointment. They were running really behind and I was disappointed because it threw off the rest of my day. I wasn't greeted at all when I walked in the door. No one seemed to notice or care that I was there. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. I must have been in their waiting room for half the day. I still can't believe they made me wait that long. Dr. Lindsay has the worst bedside manner, absolutely rude and condescending! Two words to describe this arrogant Dr. Stephen Lindsay: JACK ASS !!!! No, I do not recommend this doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
