I love Dr. Denny. I find her helpful,honest,and open regarding treatment and care. Her treatment is comprehensive. She spends a great deal of time getting to know and understand her patient.

She is quite knowledgable regarding her speciality of Family Practice, what current recommendations are regarding preventive care and is quite willing to 'stretch' herself in new directions and consider the circumstances a patient is in financially for example. However, I chose to leave her practice as I had a condition causing a great deal of pain and in spite of a 'contract' and drug testing, etc., she refused me any narcotics, saying they only prescribe them for patients with cancer. After finding a different physician, my tests revealed serious problems and obvious etiologies for the pain that I was experiencing. I ended up having surgery and need more. Considering what she asked of me in order to acquire narcotics for pain from her and then for her to deny the medication appears to point to a personal fear that may hinder proper and/or compassionate treatment to others as well.

Dr Denny is a wonderful doctor. She is kind and smart and knowledgeable. I can't imagine her ever being inappropriate or judgmental with patients.
