Stuart Demirs's Online Review Report Card

I had Dr. Demirs as my primary care physician for many years. I obtained a new job and was informed that my new insurance was not acceptable and I was forced to get a new primary care physician. After I retired and went on Medicare, I called his office to schedule an appointment and was abruptly told that he wasn't accepting any new patients even though I explained why I was forced to find a new doctor. I just don't understand this attitude, as they are the ones that caused / forced me to look for a new Doctor. This is very disappointing.

it was good for you and you can also do a lot more than a couple more questions to the point where we do not see the other side door door open and I do not have any idea what that means or how to make a better picture

I saw Dr. Demirs as a young adult. I recently moved home from Hawaii and my insurance assigned me with Dr. Demirs. I was excited to be able to see him again as I really enjoyed him as my doctor in my younger years. I called and asked if they could fit me in. The woman at the front desk named “Jennifer” was very rude and said “ he is no longer taking new patients and I honestly don’t even know WHY they would assign you to us”. I explained that I’m not sure but would like if she would ask if he would see me as I am pregnant and suffering with severe itchiness on my arms and need a primary care doctor (I also live in Charlestown so it would be very convenient). She said “ I’ll ask and call you back... two days go by no return call... I called back talk to another women on the third day and she said she would have Jennifer call me. No call, I called back again and Jennifer answered. I told her I never heard back from her and would like to see the doctor or know if I would need to go somewhere else. She was so rude and acted as if I was a complete bother to her and with an attitude said “ummmm I’ll ask him AGAIN tonight”. At that time I decided that I do not want to be seen here with customer service that is so poor and disrespectful. I am writing this review because as a business owner myself for many years I know the importance of customer service. I’m sure Dr. Demirs would not like his patients to be treated in such a way. Being kind to people and returning a phone call goes a long way.

Dr. Demirs and staff are excellent. I feel good bringing my family to his office for treatment and trust his expertise. He is great with kids and I highly recommend this practice.

Dr Demirs has been my Primary Care Physician for over 20 years. He very knowledgable and caring. His staff, Jennifer, is also very caring and responsive. I feel very fortunate to have a medical practice of this high quality way down here in southwest RI.

Dr. Demirs and his staff have always been excellent for my children. They have been as flexible as possible in fitting in children with urgent needs, and patient when I need yet another camp form filled out. I recommend Dr. Demirs highly!!

Great doctor.. Went to him for all my soccer injuries plus! Spends time and listens to your concerns.. He will make you laugh..

Dr. DeMirs is very knowledgeable in family practice medicine. Very patient and follows ups with reviews and appointments. Takes the extra time to explain test results and options.

Dr. Demirs is a great doctor! He is truely concerned about you as a person. If he isn't sure about something, he will say I'm not sure, let me find out. Me, my husband and 2 little girls all have Dr. Demirs as our primary physician. If you call and say my daughter is sick or can you see me...he ALWAYS fits you in. He and his awesome staff are always there to help. We wouldn't see anyone else!!!
