List of Anne Devi Wold's Reviews
A lot of effort to deal with her... Asked nothing about my health. Ordered a mammography, however NO Osteoporosis screening, which is the norm for menopausal women. Is circumventing my calls regarding the screening... umph!
I had to educate this doctor about the latest tests, options (at least in Europe) and she just jumped to conclusions without reviewing the previous notes of my first visit with her. She assumed I was menopausal, she assumed I had a dermoid cyst the size of a lemon....All were wrong. I even told her I don't have the symptoms she was assuming I should have. It is unbelievable that the medical system in this country has the only objective of making money instead of caring for patients. She is the worst as someone else commented here and she needs to re-educate herself and do research to keep up with medical advances!
The worst I have ever seen. Stay away from her. She is rude/aggressive tone/ inconsiderate/entitled/ kept cutting me off, kept making assumptions about me & all my other doctors. Kept putting my doctors down & their knowledge & the necessary biopsy/surgery procedures I had to get done for my breasts. She put wrong information on my chart, when I called it out that she didn’t perform any pelvin exam, she emailed me back & said I will fix it. As I was reading her message, she calls me & asks me ‘what issues do I have with her’ & that ‘I shouldn’t be worried about what she put on my chart as my insurance covers it all.’ I told her it doesn’t matter if the insurance covers it or not, you are lying and making money off of procedure you did not perform. She was frustrated with me even over the phone. Before shutting the phone, she goes whatever issues you are going through, I hope you get to resolve those, I don’t have time for this, I have better things to worry about, good luck.
I saw Dr. Wold for the first time today. I’m 36 & for years have hesitanted to see a gyno (1) majority of the gyno’s have awful bedside manners (2) at 36, still a virgin so don’t see what was so urgent, but my primary doc kept insisting to see a gyno, especially because I have quiet a few lumps in my breasts. Recently had a biopsy. also had another biopsy back in 2016. Had a surgery for a benign tumor in 2007. Doc walks into the office, didn’t even bother logging into the computer to see my chart or to write anything (the entire time). She sat by the chair close to the door - she sat at the edge, ready to walk out anytime. The very first question she asked me was ‘where are you from?’ I said Pakistan/muslim. Not married, no man in the picture and still a virgin. That’s all I had to say to trigger her rude tone (racist/nationalist? towards your own people). She disregarded all of my concerns (breast pain/mensuration - kept saying everything is normal - also said my primary doctor and nyu breast cancer center doctors don’t know what they are doing. She started putting pressure that I get these shots done in case I decide to have sex to protect me from disease. There is no man in the picture - why am I being suggested this at this point? She barely examined my breasts and said there are no lumps - again accusing that my doctors at the nyu breast center don’t know what they are doing/or they are lying (I get ultrasounds and mammograms done every six month) I can feel all the lumps myself. She goes on saying if I’m going to get the papsmear and I asked if she cab explain the process to me and what issues I might run into? & will it hurt - she goes yes it’ll hurt, depends on the person, what do you want me to explain to you? Yes there is a possibility that the hymn will break. I said I don’t want to get the test then, she annoyingly put the tool down. Said I don’t need to see her, I should see a breast surgeon. The entire time her tone came across, rude, accusing, questioning stuff that she really should be asking my other docs, or hey if you just took the time to open up my chart and study it. I will never see her again. If this is the best gyno, I can’t imagine what is considered worst?
This doctor didn't read my chart before I came. She made assumptions that were incorrect that she would not have if she had simply taken the time to read the information provided. Her manner was so direct it was at times rude and insulting. She mispronounced the nurse's name repeatedly, which should have been my first red flag. She didn't listen well and she jumped to conclusions, leaving some of my concerns unaddressed. I will not be returning. Choose another doctor and save yourself from having the same unpleasant and unfortunate experience I had.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
