He recommended a boot to help with my ankle, he fitted me with the boot, the receptionist made a follow up appointment and then I got a bill for over $400. No idea it would cost me that. I understand he may have some sort of condition but it’s very difficult to understand him.

I can tell Dr. Volpe is really knowledgeable, but I wish I could understand what he was saying. I admire him being a cancer survivor still continues on with his work. But maybe because of the after effects of cancer treatments, he was left with severe slurred speech. I tried very, very hard to listen to him but I could only make out about 30% of what he was saying. It was really frustrating and I feel for him. I have to see a different doctor so that I could understand my condition fully. Very sad. Not his fault, he’s so knowledgeable and experienced. You can just tell. But as a patient, I need to be able to understand what the doc is saying. God bless him.

Dr Volpe & his staff are great. His staff are very professional & very nice & helpful. Dr Volpe is very knowledgeable. If I have a question he takes the time to answer all my concerns.

Dr. Volpe and his staff are great! They are always accommodating and helpful. Dr. Volpe always goes out of his way for his patients and also so knowledgeable. Hands down RI Foot & Ankle has the best team!

I went there for my 83 years old mother and for me, but every time we had appointment you have to wait and always had a problem..the patient service is terrible, very unprofessional...very disappointed
