She has had a referral for me since May of last year. Today I left my 32nd phone message with the answering service. Today I offered more information as to the severity of my situation. A couple of hours later, I received a call from a woman who could barely pronounce my name - it’s 4 letters! When I confirmed that I was me, she went into a whole conversation without actually stating who she was or where she was calling! I told her I’ve been calling her office since May - no one from her office called when they received referral. She stated that the office is busy. I said that I found it hard to believe since it’s impossible to make an appointment. She then said she was very busy with a patient waiting and how dare I tell her how to run her business. I asked her if she was in fact taking new patients - she said yes. I asked if she felt it was appropriate for it to take 9 months to return a call - she became belligerent and I hung up. Does her front desk team suck - yes but clearly they are learning from her.

I always dread going to doctors. I feel as though my time should be respected and I should respect their time as well. I have had appointments in the past where if the doctor was over an hour late, I left and never came back. My first appointment here went the same way. That’s where the similarity with other doctors ended. She was so thorough it was amazing. Two hour plus initial consult. Any doctor willing to spend that much time getting to know their patient is a very rare find. Very knowledgeable in her field. I can’t wait to keep going back, I feel like with her and modern medicines I am completly covered. Went over years of history, and went over things that weren’t even necessarily diabetic related but covered overall health and well being. She’s a keeper! So if you read about long wait times, there is a reason. She spends so much time with her patients, feel lucky to be one of them.

I was contacted the day of my appointment and asked to come in an hour later, then contacted again and asked to come in another hour later. When I arrived, I was told that I would be expected to wait “over an hour” from then on. When I stated that I needed to reschedule as I need to get home to my baby, I was rudely told that when I come back, I’ll need to be prepared to “wait my turn.” The office was a disaster- full of patient files and a total fire hazard. So disappointing.

Dr. Gilmore is wonderful. She takes as much time as needed with each patient. She is thorough, patient and intuitive. She knows her patients and works to be sure that whatever she prescribes is working.

Its too bad the negative reviews are about the office wait. Yes, you must wait but the results are amazing. She takes the time to know how you are feeling to get a better picture of you and your symptoms. I have been seeing Dr. Gilmore for 15years and will continue until she retires. She doesn't place you in a cookie cutter assessment but gets to know your symptoms by taking the time to talk to you. Yes, you will wait but you can call ahead and find out when to arrive.

My visit with her was the worst I have ever because she wouldn’t even get me some new medication for my type 2 diabetes because she didn’t really care to try anything else that might actually work.

DR. GILMORE TAKES THE TIME NECESSARY TO BE THOROUGH.

Excellent treatment. She is caring and takes the time needed with each patient to do a thorough job. I was well taken care of. I didn't mind waiting my turn as she kindly listens and diagnoses each patient respectfully. Very happy, confident, and feeling lucky to have her as my physician!

Dr. Gilmore is took very thorough care of me. While there is, sometimes, a wait, once you get to see her, you understand. She takes the time needed for each patient. I don't mind sharing her with other patients and I felt very lucky to have had her treat me!
