MIichael Hayden's Online Review Report Card

Dr Hayden has been my primary for years. He always there for me and his staff is wonderful.

rude staff, refused to schedule me an appointment for an ekg and a check-up after calling for 3 months to set one up. can't get referrals for an eye doctor, dentist, or chiropractor.

His wife answers the phone she is very rude. He is a very poor doctor you will fiend all of 8 minutes with him and if your sick he just sends you to the ER you can do better with any doctor besides this one. He also doesn’t strike me as that smart.

I am new patient and was scheduling a appointment because I was having extreme pain in my knees. I called and the representative that answered the phone was very rude to me. She said that I can't schedule a appt for my knees until I have a physical with them first. I was willing to do this and told her that is fine, but during this physical can I mention about my knees since he will be assessing my overall health. She again said rudely no, I told you that. I am okay with being told no, but there is away you tell someone. Her customer service skills were deplorable and if she doesn't like her job than quit. I am a professional in Newport RI and know a lot of people and will tell them all about this experience. Dr. Hayden you are losing business with employees like this, take action to correct this issue. I would being a business owner.

Horrid customer service and was extremely rude. I had called because my provider sent me a medical insurance card telling me that Dr. Hayden was chosen as my primary doctor because they had verified he was taking new clients. But when I called the individual that answered was extremely rude and provided horrid customer service. When I told her that I am a new patient calling to set up a appointment, that my provider sent my insurance card stating this doctor is my primary. She abruptly stated in a extremely rude manner, that is not how it is done, you cant assign a doctor without our approval. She then told me she didn't care what they told me, that they are not taking new clients period. Now I was wanting to be a new client, rather my insurance company handled things wrong or not for her to rudely and abruptly tell me what she did was totally wrong. Rather someone made a mistake or not I deserved professionalism and not to be treated in a hostile manner. If she had been nice and stated I am so sorry your insurance company didn't check with us first because we are not taking new patients at this time, I would have been fine. I would have just called my insurance company and had them find me another doctor. I can tell you the way she talked to me on that phone. If they called me now and told me Dr. Hayden is now taking new patients, I would never utilize this doctor with the way I was treated. Customer service is everything. I have been a retail manager for many years, if my employees treated anyone like I was treated I would write them up or let them find other employment elsewhere. If this individual don't like her job then QUIT.

Great Doctor

I've been going to Dr. Hayden for years, no complaints.

Patient beware! Very condescending attitude. He missed diagnosing several medical issues with my husband. Just found out about the second medical issue that had been going on for YEARS. After this incident I had to leave a negative review instead of letting this doctor slide anymore. He is more worried about looking at his computer tablet to enter items for insurance payments than finding out what is going on with you medically.

Dr. Hayden is a knowledgeable, caring doctor who takes the time with me when I need it. His staff have always been kind, caring and very responsive! I appreciate this office and Dr. Hayden very much!
