Kind And caring Explains and spends time with patients
The doctor never showed up for the visit. The staff told me 2 different stories as to when or where the doctor was. I never got a return call. Worst doctor/office ever. Never got the results of tests.
My appointment was 1:00pm. I assumed with COVID restriction there would be little to no wait time. I arrived 10 minutes early for check in. 5 minutes later I was taken to the exam room and told the doctor would be with me in "a few minutes". 25 minutes later I left. During this time none of the office staff let me know the doctor was running late, or offered me the option of rescheduling my appointment. It was an awful first impression.
Thanking you Dr. Rintels for taking great care of my Mom. (Marie)
Saved my life by diagnosing me with a rare blood disorder. One of the smartest Doctors i've met.
saved my life
All though Dr. Rintels may be a competent hematologist, his office staff is not and he has no idea what is going on. Test results sent out of network with no pre-authorization resulting in me getting billed for nearly $2000. After dealing with the lab and insurance company, his office was allowed to submit the paperwork for one portion of the bill so the insurance company could pay it off, but they never sent in the paperwork resulting in 11 months of aggravation and over $400 remaining in bills that my insurance company said would have been paid if they just filed the paper work. On top of that, he brings me in to tell me what the test results were, only to tell me the results weren't back yet. It's been a year and I still don't know what they are . I have since gone to another doctor. Incompetent is all I can say. If there was a rating worse than terrible for the office staff, I would use it.
Dr. Rintels was an excellent doctor. He called me at home to make sure I was doing well.I had a type of Thallasemia anemia problem and he made sure he got to the root of it and how to treat it. He was very easy to talk to.
second time a young community college secretary with visable tattoos and lack of proffessionalism coped an attitude with me. The tone of voice was condesending, total lack of common courtesy. Instead of have a nice day you get an ALL Set...I dont know what they teach in nursing school to these young nobodies but it is a serious problem. If you do not have the heart to deal with patients in this environment get another job...healthcare is not for everyone...
I went to him for a blood disorder and while not very professional looking, kind of unkempt...he was very nice and worked hard to find out what was wrong with me, very dedicated. That's what you want.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
