List of Bassam Khabbaz's Reviews
Doctor was good, but his secretary was extremely rude. Had no regard for customer service or me as a patient. Been going here for years, yet she still didn’t care.
Dr. Khabbaz is the best doctor I've been to. He was very thorough and gave the best care possible. I highly recommend him. Very friendly and wants the best for his patients.
Been my doctor for a fews years, really smart hard working guy
I called to set up an appointment for my husband and I to be established as new patients. The first question I got asked was, do we have a deductible and what was the amount, and do we have a copay. I thought that was very strange. I understand asking about the type of insurance, but to be asked that right away..should have been the first red flag. I proceeded to give the office manager my information. She said she would look into it and call me back. A week later, still no response. I called to check in and she said that she has yet to check on our insurance. OK? she then proceeded to tell me, they are very limited on seeing patients due to covid. Ok, I get that. She then proceeded to tell me I wouldn't be able to get an appointment till the spring. Ok, that's fine, sign me up. She was then very hesitant about making my appointment. She then proceeded to tell me to look elsewhere. With this all being said and for someone who works in the health care field, I find it horrible that they are dismissing patients because they either, have copay or they have a High deductible. They immediately assume, that I'm not going to pay my bill! If I could give them zero stars, I would.
Caring doctor that listens to you. Dr Khabbaz is very thorough as well. After switching to this doctor, I realized how much my last PCP had missed! Convenient location and hours, with blood/lab work done right in the office. Would recommend
I've been a patient of Dr Khabbaz for 15+ years and there are many reason for that. He is kind, courteous, has a wealth of experience, knowledge and a real intuition. This is key. My previous PCP treated me more like just a number in a clinic. Dr Khabbaz treats me as one of his patients and always invests the time to help me overcome sickness or identify ways to live my life better. He actually cares. His office goes above and beyond to accommodate my schedule and squeeze me in for unscheduled sick visits. There is always clarity from his office in my appointments, follow ups and associated cost. I have had no issues there. They have always been friendly to me - this is another reason why I've been with them so long.I find it sad that some people complain about "unnecessary" visits or testing because of cost. Are you kidding me? No amount of money is worth my health! Dr Khabbaz always recommends what he feels is necessary to ensure I am healthy. That is his job. Sure, not many people enjoy visits for blood tests, x-rays, etc but the reality is they are necessary for proper health. His testing suggestions have helped me identify things that required action and were critical.Dr Khabbaz is great - it just takes one visit for anyone to see that. I'm in my 40s and in great health thanks to him!
DON'T EVER GO TO THIS OFFICE!!! Staff, Leeza specifically, condescending and argumentative. A long time 10+ years patient cannot get appointment for a post surgical follow up and referral to a wound center. Calling while I am in the hospital, office staff Leeza will not give a me an appt for another 5 weeks, due to the fact that I haven't been there in the past 2 years. I did not need an earlier appt, as my Cardiologist sees me annually and Dr. Khabbaz is sent all test results and kept up to date. I am 67 and Khabbaz's office worker Leeza took great pleasure being condescending, disrespectful and sassy "See that what happens when you don't schedule annual appts, now you are considered a NEW PATIENT and it will take weeks to get an appt! That should be a lesson to you, maybe you will learn to come every year for annual physical and testing!" I am always sent for unnecessary testing and then another office visit to say testing is fine. Why is he sending a non-diabetic to be tested for diabetes, pay bloodwork copay and follow up visit copay to tell me WOW YOU'RE STILL NOT DIABETIC plus another half dozen unneeded tests. An annual visit covered 100% and Dr Khabbaz wanted to send me for excessive bloodwork. I SAID "I CANNOT PAY FOR ANYTHING OVER AND ABOVE WHAT MY INSURANCE WILL COVER.: DR KHABBAZ said "NO WORRIES, IT IS FREE ALL COVERED UNDER YOUR ANNUAL CHECKUP BY YOUR MEDICAL IT WILL NOT COST YOU A DIME! I HAD THE TESTING DONE, WHICH WAS FOLLOWED BY A BILL FOR $350.00!!!!! SOME OF THE TESTS WERE NOT COVERED AND OTHERS WERE CODED INCORRECTLY SO UNABLE TO BE PROCESSED BY INSURANCE. IN THE END THE $350.00 bill was partially covered, after 3 months of myself and my medical insurance dealing with their incompetent office to code the bloodwork properly, even the health insurance was fed up with dealing with his staff.IN THE END MY FREE ANNUAL CHECKUP COST ME $125.00 AND 3 MONTHS OF PHONE CALLS AND AGGRAVATION FOR ME AND THE INSURANCE COMPANY! THIS TIME, WHILE IN THE HOSPITAL The Wound Care Center and Miriam Hospital found a new PCP for me, they found Dr. Khabbaz's office to be insufficient and exasperating. DR'S OFFICE IS FOCUSED ON MAKING MONEY ON UNNECESSARY TESTING/OFFICE VISITS.
Brilliant Doctor!!!
The doctor would not fill any prescriptions if he was not in the office. Wait time averaged 45 minutes. Last time I went office was closed with doors locked at 2:30 PM on Friday. Had an appointment for 2:30 PM. I changed doctors.
I like going to Dr. Khabbaz because he is very experienced and gets to the root of your illness/ailment and leaves you always feeling back to normal

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
