List of MIchelle Bennett's Reviews
Dr. Bennett is a nice lady but I don't trust her. My son is autistic and has ADHD. He is vaccine injured as he was given multiple vaccines (many) at one visit (This office) when he was 4 months old (they have the records and told me it's better to jab him all at once to prevent multiple visits). Guess what? My son was diagnosed at 2 years old with ADHD & Autism. He has an IEP and is exempt from further inoculation damage. These injections have high levels of aluminum, MRC-5, formaldehyde etc. and are not good for little humans. She pushed the flu shot when my son is on two heavy meds for ADHD and is at risk for side effects! They also made me sign a form today because I'm all about spacing out vaccines and my son's IEP should protect him from vaccine injuries. They proved today that they are all about money and do not care about human life. Look up "Quality of Care" bonuses and the major benefits of spacing out vaccines.
Dr. Bennett is incredible. I don't even know where to start. Both my girls, 2 and 6, see her as their primary care provider. She is considerate of my feelings towards vaccines and antibiotics. She makes sure I am informed but never makes me feel pressured to do anything I don't feel comfortable doing. Everytime the girls see her it's like we see her every day and never missed a beat. The kids even pretend play dr. at home and fight about who gets to be dr. Bennett. I've recommended several friends to her and all share the same sentiment. Keep up the good work. You are exceptional.
Dr. Bennett is a nice lady but I don't trust her. I'm immunocompromised and due to Covid I could not come to a wellness check my ex husband made an appt for my son this week. It was unnecessary as my son was doing good. He is moderately autistic and has ADHD. He is vaccine injured as he was given 9 vaccines when he was 12 months old... and was diagnosed at 2. These vaccines have high levels of aluminum, formaldehyde etc (higher than the yearly allowed maximum) and are not good for little humans. She pushed the flu shot today when my son is on two heavy meds for ADHD and is at risk for side effects. They proved today that they are all about money and do not care about human life. I'm beyond disgusted.
Dr. Bennett is an amazing pediatrician who has cared for my three children since birth. I appreciate how accessible she is to her patients, and how she never makes me feel rushed taking the time needed to answer all of my questions.
This review is not intended towards Dr. Bennet coz she's awesome, very professional and always on point with diagnosis and treatment. This 1 star review is for her scheduler. Very rude person on the phone. We have been going to Dr. Bennet's office since my son was born on 2017. We moved to LA 12/2017 and would still drive down for all his well baby appointment. Never missed a single appointment and we have always been on time. Back story: After thanksgiving, my son got sick and my in-laws, who were visiting us for the holidays recommended that we go look for a pediatrician close to home in LA. So, I brought my son in to a new pediatrician with high reviews from parents we know, thinking this new pediatrician will be able to be as thorough and on point with the diagnosis and treatment like Dr Bennet but we were wrong. Now, 3 wks of doing follow-up with the new pediatrician with no resolution. I think it's been safe to say that we tried and gave him enough chances to show that he's not quite capable. Long story short, my son is more congested, though he has no more fever but quite short of breath esp at night and coughing nonstop that he started vomiting due to the nonstop coughing after meals. He had no comfortable and restful sleep ever since. And no parent doesn't like seeing their child miserable. This morning I decided to call Dr Bennet's office hoping to get a time slot for him to be seen. The scheduler just told me that I should just continue seeing the new pediatrician even after I explained our situation. She then insisted that if it's been 3wks, then why not go to an urgent care or ER instead. I told her it doesn't warrant us to go to an ER or urgent care since he doesn't have any high grade fever and I really would prefer my son to be seen at clinic and assessed if there is an available time slot for today. She then gave me all excuses and she herself mentioned "I don't want to sound that I'm denying a sick child for appointment but you said you're son is no longer a patient here and you're driving 1hr to get here is not necessary. We don't want to be liable for anything. Also does your insurance let you see different practitioners?" That just infuriated me. First of all, if a parent is willing to drive their sick kid to just get answer it's our choice. Second, if you're on my son's chart you can see that he's been there recently either for well baby visit or for health issues. It clearly shows that he has never been discharged from your office.I, myself, am a NP at 1 of California's top Transplant Center and I have my own set of schedulers and my schedulers know their job description clearly. This nasty rude scheduler, has no right or the position to insist or give any medical advice on what a patient or family should do. All a scheduler needs to do is check if there is any availability and be polite if there's none and see if there's another day or time. I would never hire a rude staff, schedulers are gatekeepers for any clinic. That being said, they represent me and even if my work ethic is impeccable it actually affects mine as well. This is a complaint from a mother and a medical provider as well that knows the clinic workflow. I had to insist our rights and tell her that we didn't get discharged from Dr Bennet and has been diligently coming to her office even though we moved from OC to LA county. And our insurance allows us to go to any medical practitioner we deem capable of helping our sick son. We don't have to explain ourselves as if we are under a scheduler's mercy and the reason why we pay for expensive medical insurance because it gives us the freedom to go where we want to. With all these being said, I want this to be a lesson for parents and other patients and also a lesson for that rude scheduler.
Hi Mom
I have a 16 year old with a chronic illness. Dr. B has been our pediatrician since he was little, after his constant illnesses weren't addressed quickly with our former doctor and I got tired of long office waits. Before he was diagnosed, I would sometimes bring him to another doctor to get a school note or to see if he needed antibiotics when Dr. B wasn't available. They would often admonish me for letting him miss too much school, with the obvious implication that he was exaggerating his symptoms and just needed a push (they never asked whether I had tried that in the past!). Dr. B would walk into the room and take one look at him and say "Oh poor guy, you don't feel good do you? " He would have dark circles under his eyes and a flat affect, and she knew him well enough to tell right away that there was no faking going on. He's doing pretty well with the help of some great specialists now, all because Dr. B knew things were not quite right. If I could get a fake ID showing I was under 21, I'd see Dr. B too. She is really one in a million. My other child is pretty healthy but will not leave Dr. B until dragged kicking and screaming to an adult doctor. She's that awesome. If they had 100 stars I would still give her the top rating. I would form a fan club and sell memorabilia if that wouldn't seem a little creepy. Instead, I'll just give her a yelp rating.
Dr. Bennett is amazing!!! I have seen her since the day I was born and I am now 19! She is so patient and kind, I love seeing her!
Dr Bornstein Bennett is a great doctor. She is very patient, knowledgeable with health care of current procedure, medicines and issues related to children's growth & behaviors. As a mother of Twins herself she understands what unique challenges families of multiples face daily. She is always open to work with your family & your needs to find the best solution for your children's health. She will put you & your child at ease and explain things in a way that you will exactly understand easily.
Awesome, professional, loving, funny....everything a pediatrician should be when they begin practicing. Should go into business for herself

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
