Benjamin Lichtenfels's Online Review Report Card

I became a patient of Dr. "Ben" during the pandemic after my pcp of 45 yrs. retired.It's difficult to establish a new trust in someone whom is so critical to your well being. It has been almost two years, and I'm happy to say Dr.Lichtenfels has been a wonderful pcp. He listens,communicates well,answers questions , and most importantly he's a knowledgeable and excellent physician. When you need him the most,he is always available. Dr.Ben is young blood,but a good old fashion doctor! Also,the staff is congenial reliable,accommodating and a live person answers the phone!

My wife and I relocated back home to RI in March after 34 years away, and we're quickly building a network of quality medical providers. A good friend recommended Dr. Lichtenfels, who's been awesome as our Internal Medicine/PCP. The staff has been equally awesome - caring, professional and efficient. We called the office to establish a new patient relationship, and were promptly scheduled for initial consultation appointments. Dr. Lichtenfels reviewed our patient records prior to our appointments, and asked solid questions during our appointments. He's friendly, caring, empathetic and helpful during our appointments. Dr. L promptly referred my wife to a few local specialists to further address on-going issues, renewed our maintenance prescriptions, and in summary, has been a superb PCP.

This is not a Professional atmosfere. He has no computers in his patient's rooms. He's part of Care New England and gives no summary of discharge. He discharged me as a patient because I complained. He' allso put derogatory statements on my chart about discharging me. I have no primary care physician now for two months had double pneumonia last year and a pulmonary abulism. I truly need another primary care physician. It's clear hes knows how to dress in a thousand dollars in in cloths shoes and Jewelry no skurg

My doctor of over 35 years retired, and needless to say, I was terrified to start all over with another primary care physician. My previous doctor referred me Dr. Lichtenfels, so I booked an appointment. I could not be happier. He is kind, he listens, he asked me questions no other doctor or specialist has ever asked me, and he has a plan that does not include throwing medication after medication at me that I've already been on before (with no success, or worse, with terrible side effects). As a patient, you will not feel insignificant, you will not feel like just another file, and he will take the time to get to know you and find a way to help you. Whether you are simply looking for a very good primary care physician who cares, or whether your medical condition is complex, I recommend Dr. Lichtenfels. Also of note is the office staff is top notch and the office environment is comforting. I could say more, but to sum it up....definitely an all around A+.
