My husband just had his second knee replacement; his quality of life improved so much after his first replacement, he couldn't wait to have the second one done (both at the surgi-center in East Providence). Dr. Jenkins - amazing physician - and his team are such professionals. But add to that the level of care and concern they have for their patients is what makes them truly outstanding. Terrific for both patients and the care givers - they were available to answer any and all questions. Truly changing people's lives.

I was 69 years old when I had a full replacement of my right knee by Dr. Jenkins. He and his staff have been excellent. Process of preparing for surgery after steroid injections snd physical therapy were not sufficient to address the pain and mobility deficits was pretty seamless and efficient. Preparation for surgery was comprehensive. I felt that I understood all aspects of what was to be done. Surgery was highly effective. Started PT immediately post surgery and that was helpful. Within two months I was significantly healed and able to begin taking walks and doing yoga. Within six months, almost completely back to “normal”. At my one year checkup, I was able to report to Dr. Jenkins that I was easily able to walk 10,000 steps a day and do rigorous yoga practices with few adjustments. My prosthetic knee is far more capable - strong and flexible - than my other knee. I would consider this surgery to be 100% a success. Highly recommend Dr. Jenkins snd University Orthopedics.

I had both of my hips replaced by Dr. Jenkins, one year between them. The last one was done 8 months ago. I am doing all my regular daily activities without any discomfort. No pain! I am incredibly happy with the outcome! Exactly as Dr. Jenkins has promised!

I had a full knee replacement five (5) weeks ago, discharged to home same day. My pain was minimal, stopped pain meds after 6 days, began PT immediately and continue with it. Regaining strength, flexibility and have returned to my routine activities. I highly recommend Dr. Jenkins; he is a consummate professional, extremely competent, good educator, attentive, caring and supportive. In hindsight, I should have done it sooner. Thank you, Dr. Jenkins for restoring my quality of life!
