Dr. Dennison is the best internist in Rhode Island. He has always taken plenty of time to listen to me and has recommended me to excellent doctors for additional treatment when necessary. I do not know what I will do when he retires. I am in my 80s now and was in my 40s when he became my physician. My husband would not have lived to be 4 months shy of 90 when he died if he had not transferred to Dr. Allen M. Dennison.

Staff are very rude and not helpful at all which is a shame because he is a nice guy but his staff totally suck.

Dr. Dennison and his staff are extremely, rude, arrogant and unhelpful. They can barely be bothered to return a phone call and are completely unsympathetic. I do not recommend him for any kind of medical treatment whatsoever.

I worked for Dr dennison years ago. He is a great teachers tot and friend. I used to feel so proud to be part of his team that really cared and went the extra mile to help his or our patients. He did medicine right which is to give patients time needed to diagnose and fix problems. Sadly to say , this wonderful doctor had to give up his practice and work for sOmeone else due to insurance and hospitals changing from non profit to for profit for your life basically. Then coding began which makes it impossible to get paid , denied tests for his patients from insurance, recordings which make it impossible to find out who gets what . This for profit for a life is wrong and it puts doctors out of business and takes away time needed to diagnosis patients. We went from number one in the WORLD to on the bottom 1/3rd. We need to change this back to non profit. That creates quality medicine and does not deny treatments. When this ha

EXCELLENT BEDSIDE MANNOR. TOP IN HIS FIELD OF INTERNAL MEDICINE. WILL GO LOVES THE EXTRA MILE TO HELP HIS PATIENTS. HE LOVES PEOPLE AND HELPING TOMAKE A PATIENTS LIFE BECOME A QUALITY LIFE TO LIVE, AS BEST THE PATIENT CAN WITH THEIR ILLNESS. HE WILL NOT STOP UNTIL HE FIGURES OUT WHAT IS WRONG. Dr Dennison is the BEST DR in the STATE of RI. So you have to wait sometimes, but...when its your turn you have his undivided attention. He is determined to find an answer for any problem you may have. He won't leave you hanging & he takes time to explain! I rate him a 10+
