My rating is based on her precepting residents at The Memorial Hospital. The resident and staff wrote notes challenging my mental health based on complaints. My first interaction, I expressed concern over the treatment plan getting unnecessarily changed. This was called paranoid, and yet it happened. My care plan was restored to what previous physicians in major medical meccas set it as, and doctors of far superior note in this geography. It took a fight. The second resident was awesome, but I couldn't recover from the warped ideas of the first one. It was the opposite of person-centered care. When we got to this ideal (whew), instead of letting me both enjoy end Aug., and WORK for my living...she dogged me incessantly as if I needed "help." This person is not used to proactive, driven patients. My specialist physicians like her, but that is not medicine. Nor is mothering and smothering. It took one hour to discuss one script. Micro-aggressive staff at the clinic. Time consuming/waste.

Dr. Duffy is an excellent doctor, she takes the time to do a thorough exam, and listens to all symptoms, she is not the type of doctor to just prescribe medication to get you out of the office. She is super friendly.

This doctor is the worst ever. She is very impatient, rushes the visit, cuts you off while you are explaining your symptoms. Once I was done telling her my symptoms, she packed all her stuff, said she'll be right back. After 10 mins, walks back and and says, the other lady will take care of you. No explanation about anything. Hands me a piece of paper with the condition, tells me she can't prescribe me any medication for my pain because I could get addicted. Never again.

Dr. Duffy will often call herself to follow up, explain results, etc. She is friendly when I see her in person.
