Except for the reason why I was there, I don't believe it could have been any better. Everything was on time. Staff extremely professional and very friendly. From the start all the way through post-op, everything went smoothly and with precision. Thank you Dr Akelman and Staff for everything.

Doctor Akleman was great to work with, from the initial meeting to the surgery day, and afterwards, with my two successful procedures. His explanation was clear and thorough, and you have the rare and wonderful sense that he is paying attention to your individual care. The whole diagnostic and surgery experience was easy and extremely well organized, and actually rather pleasant.

Dr. Akelman explained every issue currently plaguing my hand and wrist. He explained it clearly and in layman's terms. I felt dismissed by my last ortho experience and he wanted to understand why and showed empathy for the unpleasant prior experience I had. I will absolutely recommend Dr. Akelman and Univ. Ortho as a whole if the need ever presents itself.
