Dr Torbey is a very smart doctor

Dr Torbey is hands down the best Electrophysiologist / cardiologist I met. She's compassionate, helpful, skilled, experienced and very knowledgeable in her field. After God, I owe her my health and ....my life. She was able to discover my problem accurately and treat whereas other doctors kept guessing and referring me to each other because they had no idea what my symptoms were.

Dr. Torbey did an ablation procedure after my diagnosis of afib about a year and a half ago. She explained the procedure so well that I had no fear or apprehension about going to the hospital and having it done. After it was over she followed up with me. She is very knowledgeable and a dedicated doctor. I just had a heart monitor that I had to wear for a month. At the last visit she told me there was no sign of afib which made me feel great. D. Torbey did my ablation and was very good (great!). She is a caring doctor that made sure the procedure was a success! She checked in with me at the hospital after the procedure to make sure that I felt good and that I was not having any issues! I would recommend Dr. Torbey to anyone who needed any type of heart exam and surgeries. I have had follow up visits to make sure everything is good and I am pleased with her dedication to me as a patient! Very through doctor!

I am a 64 year-old male who was diagnosed with AFIB about 14 years ago. In 3/2019 (since drug therapy and cardioversion was not effective), I was referred to Dr. Torbey to see if I was a candidate for an ablation procedure for AFIB (her specialty). During my initial visit, Dr. Torbey explained my situation and all my options. Dr. Torbey intelligently and compassionately answered all my questions (especially the effect AFIB was having on my heart function). She performed the ablation procedure on 6/2019. Since that day, I have not been in AFIB and my last Electrocardiogram showed a normal heart function! With a renewed confidence in my body (as well as my mind), I have lost 40 pounds to get back to normal weight (done with regular exercise and diet). Recently, Dr. Torbey released me from her care. Every interaction with Dr. Torbey and her well-trained staff was professional and caring.

Dr Torbey did the cardiac procedure for my husband. She had the very up to date knowledge and compassion to explain thoroughly to both my husband and our family. Our family is very grateful for her care and understanding during a very trying time!

Dr. Torbey is a very knowledgeable Doctor, she performed a heart ablation on my husband a couple of weeks ago. She is a caring and sympathetic doctor she eplained the entire procedure from start to finish. She truley cares about her patients. We just had out 2 week followup with her in her office. Her office staff is also very nice we were seen right away and did not have to wait in her office. She also took the time to explain the procedure to my adult children who were also very concerned about their father, she eased their fears. After the procedure she came right and told us how everthing went. I would highly recommend Dr. Torbey and her staff.

Dr. Torbey performed the "Watchman" procedure on my husband in July. Prior to the procedure she explained in detail the procedure, the waiting time to stop the blood thinners, and the end result getting off blood thinners after being on them for several years. Dr. Torbey has changed our lives for the BETTER. My husband has had over 40 blood transfusions, and now, thanks to Dr. Torbey he is finally off blood thinners! She is a pioneer in this field to help people live a normal life. We thank God that she came into our life. I couldn't explain the excitement my husband and I felt when she told us he could stop the blood thinners.
