List of Geetha Gopalakrishnan's Reviews
The past three appointments have been rescheduled without notifying me. I would show up a few minutes before the appointment and then be informed I was an hour early. The first two times I wrote it off as a fluke and it must be my mistake, but this third time! On top of that, it is next to impossible to schedule at your convenience. After your visit, they just tell you to leave and they mail you an appointment (and lab work) without any input from you. Good luck trying to speak with someone to change the appointment or find a lab that does the test they ordered! Once you are in the office (and even telehealth visits!), prepare to be waiting in a room for 45 min to an hour and see a new resident every time. There is no continuity. Lastly, but most importantly, I never felt heard about my symptoms. If they feel your single lab test (god forbid they actually order a full thyroid panel) is sufficient it appears they ignore whatever symptoms/ailments you express.
Dr. G. is an excellent doctor, but I’ve been seeing her for 7 years and each time I’ve waited over an hour. If the office was run where there were no ridiculous wait times, she would get 5 stars.
Why does no one EVER answer the phone? There’s not even a voicemail option. I’ve called 3 weeks now and spoke to 1 person. One time. Trying to find a new doc now!!
One would expect for the doctor to follow up, discuss results, give you a conclusion of some sort but no, he left me in complete darkness (as if I didn't see my own lab results). Very unfortunate. Didn't see Gioalakrishnan, perhaps that doctor would have been more thorough.
They never answer phone calls or respond to your messages
what should have been just a follow appointment took close to 2 hours Staff doctors keep changing, seems no one can make a decision with out a lengthy discussion. Office is very disorganized appointments have changed and been rescheduled time and time again.
I like the doctor but the wait time is over the top. It is very disrespectful of people’s time to have them wait for in the exam room for almost an hour before they are seen by the doctor. I understand a standard wait 15 maybe 20 minutes but to wait for 45-60 minutes to be seen for less than 10 minutes when your the 1st appointment of the morning is unnacceptable and very unprofessional. The message is that as the provider their time and schedule is much more valuable than yours, because they are late to work so should you be. Switching doctors is a pain but I will be switching after this.
Extremely long wait and very unprofessional receptionist named Betty.
I saw this doctor after having my thyroid removed. She was awful. The staff were also rude and seemed like they didn’t want to do their job. I was to receive a radiation pill after my thyroidectomy and was given the run around by the Dr. for over 6 months with excuse after excuse. She never remembered who you were and was very disorganized. I found another Endocrinologist and within a few weeks of seeing him, was given my radiation treatment.
After 10 years of watching my daughter deal with endocrine issues that have impacted numerous aspects of her life, my concern for her well being and treatment is significant. Her care through this office and unfortuantely with Dr G has been the most stessful and awful experience to witness. Every appointment late or a dr no show because she forgot, no records to review, weeks of waiting for responses to questions. Once a response is made it is always with her associate. Unfortunately so many years of dealing with her did not even yield any kind of compassionate relarionship. We are done and I would never recommend this dr or office.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
