My blood pressure was terribly managed the entire pregnancy, he wouldn't consider changing the medication, only increased it the whole time. He was late for my scheduled C-section. He pushed schedule a C-section rather than let me try a natural birth-claimed it would be safer... Then I read about doctors like him, who don't want to wait around for labor to just happen or get called in the middle of the night- fits him to a tee. He even oddly pushed for me to get my tubes tied while I had the C-section, so they wouldn't have to go back in. I still regret it five years later.

He is always late even when there is no one there.Never apologizes for being late either

Very positive, competent, knowledgeable and had a sense of humor when needed. I felt I was in good hands. For background, he oversaw my three pregnancies (1 medium risk) and delivered all three.

Okay, so after reading these reviews, I was hesitant to see him. And I hadn't been to a male GYN doctor in over 25 years. He was the only doctor I could get an appointment with as I had a semi-urgent issue. So I was a little nervous. Basically, I was pleasantly surprised. I found him very nice, caring and most important- thorough. He was interested in my past history, and very curious about my current symptoms. I left feeling satisfied with a direction of my next course of action. So would I see him again, yes. I do prefer a women, but overall his personality was very nice. And his staff was extremely nice!! Their phone system is a mess, but that is not the staff nor the doctor's fault. Cranston - January 2020

Terrible Experience. Not compassionite, he had a negative attitude, only focused on worst case scenarios and left me feeling worse then when I came in. Will never return to his office.

Very negative man. This was an awful experience. Will never be returning to his office, go anywhere but near him.

Was very rude, didn't know why I was there, when I tried to explain why I was there, told me to shut up and be quiet, insisting I to do one exam I wasn't there for which made me uncomfortable, got really angry when I stuck to my guns and refuse to do an unwanted exam, walked out without him touching me. Will never send someone to him, what doctor refuses to listen to a patient concerns and why they are there and tells the patient to shut up and be quiet. Very rude and mean. At least the girls in the office gave me the understanding looks when I left the office.

He has no bedside manner, he is rude if you question him and his first response to everything is scaring the patient. He will even scare the patient saying that you might have cancer without any proof just to prove his point. Negative man!

Dr. Galkin was rude and unhelpful. He withheld test results for a year. Will never come back.

I have been receiving medical care from Dr. Galkin fro more than 10 years. I find him fairly relaxed and very knowledgeable. He made me feel at ease when I was in labor. He has treated me with expertise.
