Dr. Rafferty is an exceptional doctor and has been available for my Trans teen’s needs despite practicing in multiple locations. He made sure to email so that we were able to follow him out of Thundermist to Hasbro to continue in his care. Dr. Rafferty is highly knowledgeable and is managing my teen’s medications effectively, while offering extremely helpful knowledge and feedback as we work with him in supporting our child through their difficult gender dysphoria. We appreciate the kindness and down to earth personality of Dr. Rafferty and feel that he is a key member of our teen’s care team. Very highly recommended!

Dr. Rafferty has been caring for my child during their transition and has been absolutely wonderful. He is kind, caring, incredibly knowledgeable, and dedicated to his patients even during weekends and vacations.He is a critical part of my child's team and we could not be happier with his care.

my child described him as "weird" and "creepy" after he repeatedly grilled her about her gender identity. She said she didn't identify as anything, so they put "genderqueer" on her medical records even though she identifies as a lesbian female. I didn't even authorize this doctor to talk to my doctor, he just appeared at her regularly scheduled med check.

He is a weirdo doesn't have any sympathy for his patients, comes late every single time and weirdly only cares about sexuality issues. He has a creepy smile that shows no emotion and would prescribe high doses of medications that have weird side effects. I don't care if you went to Harvard You have no experience at all in treating correctly

Dr does not have a clue about what he is talking about. He will try to tell you that gender and sex are not the same. He like so many other so called intellectuals from some place like Harvard like to think out of the realm of reality. Transgenderism is a way for people who have a mental illness to protect their civil rights. That's it.

Dr. Rafferty helped me sort through issues and thoughts that I'd been stuck on for two years, particularly related to gender. This was after having already seen 2 psychiatrists, 3 therapists, and 1 mental health counselor. I am no stranger to mental health providers. He's direct. He asks the tough questions that are necessary to get to the heart of an issue. He challenges you. Anyone that has not had a positive experience with him was most likely not ready for the openness and the work that that involves. If you're ready to begin making changes in your life, I highly recommend him.
