List of Joshua Fischer's Reviews
Joshua Fischer is a truly outstanding doctor. He is tremendously knowledgeable and competent, extraordinarily available and empathetic with his patients, attentive, conscientious, and caring. As a patient, you are treated with respect for your worries, pain, and autonomy. I have lived in different countries and visited several doctors but never found one that I can trust as much as I trust Doctor Joshua Fischer.
Very Sincere and Dedicated. Takes the time to listen, evaluate and follow up. Is very proactive when it comes to suggesting and managing healthy lifestyles and effective wellness habits. Excellent advice and care.
The Dr was punctual but, you don’t get to say much about how you feel. Plus I don’t like when someone tells you your pain isn’t that bad. Have you had this kind of pain ? Then he told me that I would need to have blood work done and left me sitting there. No lab slip no nothing. Maybe he was having a bad day. I’m sort of on the fence about going back.
Dr Fischer is excellent but his office staff could use a little training in common curtesy.....I had an appointment canceled and Shannon took it upon herself to put me on waiting list rather then find a new appointment...when I called her out on it she hung up on me! Real professional
He is dismissive and lacks a concern for patient's wellbeing. Most appointments with him do not last more than 7 minutes despite the typical over 50 minute wait to be seen.
Dr Fischer is a good man. Actuall saw his NP Michelle today....Typical upper respiratory stuff. Not only was she thorough in her evaluating me but her kindness and professionalism were as good as it gets!
Do not recommend. Sub-standard 'drive-through' physical exam, poor communication, non-existent follow up on referrals and unhelpful office staff.
I think Dr. Fischer is terrific. Unfortunately my primary Dr. Yess needed to retire due to illness and he chose Dr. Fischer for me. I'm pretty badly behaved when I first meet a new doctor or their assistants because I don't like answering a lot of personal questions. So it took a while for me to warm up to Dr. Fischer but I did. He was amazingly patient with me and I appreciate that. I'm a shy extrovert and I'd say he is a shy introvert, he needs a bit of time to warm up and when he does, he's terrific. He's very thorough, knows his stuff, has a sense of humor, listened to me and a couple of times came around to my way of thinking....about meds. I did not find Dr. Fischer at all apathetic, shy yes, but apathetic, definitely not. If you have little tolerance for a smart, shy guy, then find someone else. But if you want a Doctor who knows his stuff, who listens and is a very good doctor, then he's the one for you.
Experience was similar to another reviewer. The staff rushes you through whatever process they need to do, then talks to you at 100 words per second to get you through what they need to do without asking you much or looking away from their computer(s) (like pushing you through like cattle), then they leave you to wait for him to arrive. Once he shows up, he doesn't talk or ask you much and basically was the same as the previous reviewer, stares at the clipboard and so forth.
Dr. Fischer should have taken a class on bedside manners because he absolutely did not have any whatsoever. When I came in for a sick visit, he looked at his tablet the whole entire time making little no eye contact. It was probably one of the most uncomfortable visits I've ever been to as we sat in silence and he browsed through my records. He made very little effort to ask me about my symptoms and seemed very apathetic. When he dismissed me, he just told me to get blood work and walked out the door without even saying goodbye and without me knowing if the appointment was over. I will never go to see him for an urgent sick visit ever again. I'd rather wait in the hospital ER rather than sit in awkward silence with an apathetic doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
