List of MIchael Wu's Reviews
I was referred to Doctor Wu by my cardiologist to help me with my atrial fibrillation. He is a specialist in the field. I first met with his Fellow who talked with me at length about my condition and history and what we could do about it. The Fellow was extremely helpful and listened to everything I told him and was very knowledgeable and recommended different methods of treatment. He was a good communicator. After that Doctor Wu came in and we spoke as well. He is a highly intelligent Doctor who I immediately trusted. He knows how to evaluate a problem and fix it. He also listened to my questions and answered them well like the Fellow. We chose a course of action and so far I feel much better with no symptoms of atrial fibrillation. Highly recommend.
Having issues with Tachycardia after months of waiting for appointment finally got in to see his student and then roughly 3 minutes of him...He ordered a stress test which was done in August... Follow up appointment was January 17th which was the soonest he had ...Never heard any results from my test. I received a call on the Friday before my appointment cancelling it for Tuesday!! I was told I couldn't reschedule with him because he was out and not sure when he would be back !!! Fast forward I reschedule with the nurse practitioner which I cancelled..I figured it would be a waste of time because she can't do much about it..I called and asked to be rescheduled with any Dr and asked again if Dr Wu is coming back only to be told he was there !! The next available time is June !! Needless to say this is unacceptable!!! Avoid this practice !! Obviously they are too busy to care for patients
Husband had defibrillator installed and got all infected and now he is dead. Thanks dr Will M
Appears to have good analytical skills, but very condescending, rude, and lacks empathy. This doctor has forgotten that the true art of medicine involves a dose of empathy, humility, and making a patient feel comfortable rather than judged and analyzed like a specimen. Shall not be returning.
This doctor is the worst psychiatrist I’ve ever been to! He’s insensitive and lacks the patience to be working with the mentally ill! He just gives up on you if he can’t crack the coconut, no pun intended. His ego is bigger than the oath he took to be a doctor and doesn’t live up to the Hippocratic oath he took because I know he would never treat a family member like he treated me. Stay away if you want to keep any sanity you still have!
He's horrible! I don't know where he's from, absolutely uncaring individual I've ever met. He needs to get another day time job before he ruins more patients. Please don't be a doctor for people with mental problems, you are the worst I've ever met.
First visit wonderful, after that very unprofessional!!
If I could give less than one star, I would. My experience with Dr. Wu was a long and disappointing one. After seeing him for over a year, he was never able to help me with the sudden onset of an anxiety disorder. I was kept on what I refer to as a "hamster wheel" of medication cocktails. I often felt that the problem was me or with the medication, but it turns out that he just didn't have the experience or know-how to treat my condition properly. If you need a doctor that will simply maintain medication that you know already works for you, he is perfect. Look elsewhere if you are facing the unknown.
Each appointment, no matter how bad, was 20-30 mins or less. For regular follow up, I can understand the 10 min appointment, but 20 mins for meetings early on, especially when there's a lot going on is ridiculous! I was bounced from Rx to Rx pretty easily, which tells me he may not know what he's doing.
Dr. Wu is an excellent pharmacologist and has put together a medication "cocktain" which has enabled me to deal well with a lifelong clinical depression.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
