I am a firm believer that there are amazing doctors that do care. I’m actually crying writing this because I’ve been going to Dr. Akhtar for 16 years now and he is truly a man of his word. He takes care of his patients, he is so positive and straight to the point. I trust him with my life. He recently discovered that I was suffering from cancer and I thought it was my depression and stress. He got me in contact with one of the top doctors in RI as he always does. He’s attentive and knows exactly what he’s talking about. I am truly blessed to have him as my doctor. Thank you always to his team to Dr. Omar, they really do work hard for their patients.

Dr. Akhtar is a wonderful doctor! He knows his job very well and is very knowledgeable! In addition, he is not quick to dump a bunch of prescriptions drugs on you. Instead he investigates your issue thoroughly to determine the best possible solution. He is patient and listens to your concerns rather than brushing you off or rushing you. Dr. Akhtar is compassionate, respectful and the list goes on! All in all, he is an outstanding and gifted doctor who does his job exceedingly well! Many of my family are his patients and we love his services so much!

All I can say is good things about this doctor..he's kind..he tKes time to talk to his patients and really listens them.. I have been seeing him of.over 10yrs. Dr.Akhtar, is all about tha patients. I can't fine doctors like him or his partner Thats in the same office.. Thankfully for him and the office and the partner ❤

The Doctor himself is good but even then he just refers you to someone else. The staff he has working for him is terrible. The only one that speaks full English at the front desk has the most unappealing attitude I have ever seen. Miserable, monotoned, makes you feel like your in the wrong. It's a bunch of woman who barely understand English working on that staff, an when your asking them a question that your confused about they give you an attitude as if your wasting their time. Like hold on a minute, isn't it your job to help a client that is unsure. Either get a new staff or attitude check all of them. The worst attitude I've seen from a family doctors office in a while, feel like I'm in South Providence
