My mom (77yrs old)was referred by her friend to see Dr Terek for a knee replacement. She was overdue for one. By x-rays she needs one. My mom not 100% fluent in English. He was not pleasant right from the start. He spoke very fast and was abrupt. We felt he was interviewing her to see if this is what she wanted. Dr. Terek has a manner that instills confidence. He takes the time to listen to your concerns, and asks all the right questions. He called me personally several times (not relying on staff to relay messages.) What doctor does that today! My husband also commented that when he called him after my surgery that he explained everything in as much detail as he wanted and was patient in answering his question. AND his surgical skills are fantastic. What was a 3" incision is barely noticeable!

I was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor called chondrosarcoma and I was referred to by Dr. Richard Terek because they told me it was the best and it was true they did not lie to me because he could remove the tumor if not before sacrificing part of my body so that no cancer cells will remain in the area where the tumor was
