Very nice and pleasant. I saw some off reviews so I was nervous going in but she was great . Definitely a professional and experienced provider.

I've been a patient of Dr. Burns since 2005. I would never want to be in a position where I can't see her as my primary doctor. She's amazingly patience and genuine in her care. Definitely not the doctor that just rushes your exam for the "next"patient. I can talk to her about anything and I have always been met with a sincere and empathetic ear.

Have been a patient of hers for many years but I am long overdue fir a change. She contradicts herself, she is not a good listener, she seems to have lost interest in caring for her patients.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Burns for approximately 23 years. She listens to our symptoms and answers all questions that we have. She is kind, compassionate, and respectful. Most importantly spends time with you. I wanted to go on a new drug for my Fibromyalgia. She printed out the drug fact sheet, went over each side effect and talked me right out of trying it. I am so glad she did! If I have to wait, which is rare, I know that she is spending time with another patient just as she does with me. So I don't mind at all. We are moving to SC and I don't know how we will ever find a doctor as wonderful as Dr. Burns. She is irreplaceable.

Dr Burns is my elderly mother's primary. My mother is and has always been a hypochondriac and tends to think of symptoms being something that they're not.from previous discussions on the side with dr. Burns from family members, she is aware of my mother's patterns. Inevitably she prescribes more and more prescription meds that Are not required, adding to the high amounts she's already taking.what she should be doing is talking these things out and calming her paranoia with these non existent diseases excetera. provide common sense and natural cures instead of more prescription meds

Dr. Burns is very thourough and listens to the patient. I would highly recommend her to a family member or friend.

I have gone to Dr. Burns for years, and now that they've moved to East Providence, they do NOT have the capacity to handle the amount of patients they have. More often than not, I spend about an hour just trying to schedule an appointment because I am put on hold, accidentally hung up on, or the phone is busy. When I do get an appointment, I wait in Dr. Burns' office in my underwear for at least 20 minutes because she has so many other patients to review. Her amount of time with me is limited and she asks me every time if I'm still in school (and I graduated 8 years ago). I think she's a great doctor, but her office needs to find a way to become more organized and to limit the number of patients because it seems like she is spread to thin. I am really disappointed.

When Dr. Burns first started her practice,my mother was one of her patients. As an elderly person, my mother was treated kindly and respectfully. My sister and I switched over to Dr. Burns and continue to see her because we so respect as a physician and a person who truely listens. I feel so much more comfortable with a woman doctor and Dr.Burns is not only wonderful, thorough.
