List of Vicky Cheng's Reviews
The front office is awful. Takes days (if ever at all) to return phone calls. Often no one answers the phone and its transferred to a general answering service or an answering machine. Dr Cheng did not have good bedside manner and was dismissive. Left Brown Medicine for another endrocrinologist and couldn't be happier.
At my first visit I did not have a good impression of her, but since my other visits, I really changed my mind. She has demonstrated me she is a very professional Dr. and she has given mi a good follow up even buy email. The only issue I had was that the appointments were each four month, and I think is to much time for Dr. to treat and provide a good follow up. I am now so sorry that my insurance seems to not be working with her anymore, hope my new Dr. is as good as she is.
Considerate and caring physician who provides excellent care. Places value on data and test results and takes the time to review, follow up and explain the details and also provide recommendations. Her care is excellent and I have nothing but positives for her care and knowledge.
Doesnt seem caring and wont listen to you or run test you feel you need. Thinks she knows your body better then you do.
Dr. Vicky Cheng is a great physician, spends time, does thorough testing to arrive at an accurate diagnosis. Its a pleasure to be her patient.
Decided to cancel the appointment and find another doctor after I was there and found out it was going to be about another 3 hour wait. The previous visit was the same and Dr. Cheng's response was "But I'm spending time with you - I'm not rushing you." That wasn't the point. Our time is also valuable. Although I know emergencies and situations come up, three times in a row is too much, and while waiting this last time I listened to a gentleman complain about how long he and his wife always have to wait. That's when I decided it's not an occasional thing but a recurring one and canceled my appointment and left. And unfortunately Dr. Cheng does not seem to like being questioned and can get very short and irritated when you don't understand something as complicated as the various TSH, T4 and T3 levels and how they relate to your medication dosage.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
