Dr. Dicenso and his staff are ultra caring, knowledgeable, thorough, respectful and consciencous. They don't overbook, so you aren't waiting around. Good people!

The doctor himself, he is amazing, the front desk nurses are the most frustrating people to deal with, good luck getting any information out of them even if its about your life being in danger.

Wonderful doctor. He listens and is engaged. Attentive and personable. Makes you feel comfortable. He is caring and really wants to help you. Knowledgable.

I don’t know where to start... Angelo DiCenso was my parents doctor. He made them feel very comfortable, created a friendly atmosphere. He talked to them about his family, his vacations, his hobbies, his loves and desires. When it came to him knowing about my parents lives he knew nothing!! My mom started years ago with memory issues . I called the office to make him aware and focus his assessment on her cognitive abilities. Let’s just say my mom was scared, knew she was having issues but she didn’t want to bring it up because it could be a real serious problem. So we had difficulty talking to her about getting help. When I called the office they let me know that they spoke to him about it and “he would let her know I called and am concerned”. This would not be good, mom would get very upset. I told them not to do that and asked if he could just make it part of his assessment during her visit. I am a nurse and know that if someone is skilled in assessing the patient doesn’t even know what is being assessed. I’ve been to his office with my mom and he walked in to the exam room, was very friendly and social, but not focused on why she was there. Mom, just like many elders, do as the doctor says, and they love the social interaction. We are upset at his lack of attention to her REAL health issues. Mom has since passed and the past 7 years she was robbed of her life. She suffered as did we! We were robbed of many moments and memories that we could have had with her if her health was managed appropriately! I am writing this because I have worked with elderly and if you are having difficulty with your memory, or having issues with your balance, among other things that are chalked up to “well you are getting old”, IT IS NOT NORMAL!! You can get help, other than prescriptions, and becoming sedentary. If he was more concerned about mom keeping her independence and holding on to her health, she would have lived more vibrantly in her last years. We discharged both mom and dad from his care in 2017, but the damage was already done and prevention was no longer an option. If you want a friend go to Angelo DiCenso, but if you want medical care find another doctor.

Let’s start off with Dr.DiCenso is amazing Dr we love him!! The GIRLS in his office are rude and they don’t even confirm any appointments ! They don’t tell u when Dr.DiCenso goes on vacation and the office won’t be open patients should get a confirm call and any prescription refilled during the time before he goes on vacation .This is just common courtesy !! If you don’t like working in the office and working with people maybe you should not have that type of job!!!

I love him. Very attentive and thorough. He found cancer in my abdomen. Just by touching it. Amazing man!

Brutal. Office staff are the most incompetent. Booked a telehealth appt but didn’t tell me it was telehealth and turned me away when I showed up. Then, they proceeded to bill me directly for that appt despite having insurance, and not providing a service to me. Needed another appointment a few months later. Booking was 2 month away and when I arrived they informed me that they don’t accept my insurance. Wouldn’t they confirm that at the time of booking? This office never passes up an opportunity to be unaccountable and unprofessional. I highly recommend this office if you’re strictly looking to waste your time.

Dr. DiCenso is a wonderful doctor. He is caring and helpful. I have never had any problems with this office and am happy to wait because I know the doctor is taking time with his patients and will do the same with me.

Dr. Angelo DiCenso and his practice are amazing. He has a truly pleasing staff, a very sanitary office, a great education studying in Rome, Italy, and a great personality. He is also bilingual speaking Italian and English. He is truly my favorite doctor in Rhode Island.
