Absolutely fantastic doctor. Very caring detailed and friendly. Makes you feel welcome and comfortable.

Forgets appointments. Poor communication skills. Office personnel does not communicate well either.

Very caring and very understanding. He explains everything very well, in "regular" people dialog. Since being a patient does not mean all knowing of medical terms, he makes it very easy to understand the problems.

Excellent doctor, gentle, kind and very thorough, and caring with super bedside manners. Extremely satisfied with him. However, his office staff leaves much to be desired, absolutely impossible to reach a person without leaving multiple telephone messages, and calls are sometimes not returned at all, very frustrating. If it were not for the fact that I highly trust respect this doctor I would look elsewhere.

My family lost our father last week to prostate cancer that he had been battling the last couple of years. The last few months were extremely tough as our family and our father did everything possible to fight for his survival and I can tell you there is no urologist we would have wanted other than Dr. Alavian. He was beyond compassionate and supportive, spending time on the phone with our entire family when he could have been home with his own. He was always patient in answering our questions, following up with our million phone calls, and his clinical skills are stellar. My father entrusted no one more than Dr. Alavian when it came to his care and even though this is not how we would have liked the story to end we know that he was cared for by the best. We are eternally grateful to Dr. Alavian, his staff and can assure people if you are looking for a urologist this is where you want to be. They don't make a lot of doctors like this anymore.

He took me in right away. Explained condition well. Very kind person. He’s very clear in what he’s going to do. Soft spoken. I trust him with everything he does.

What a breath of fresh air! Dr. Alavian has been one of the most intelligent, caring, patient and family centered physician that I have had the pleasure of meeting in a very long time! His dedication to his patients and to the medical profession as a whole is truly superior and should be widely recognized. My family member was very well taken care of by him and by all the nurses at Fatima Hospital that were involved in his care. From beginning to end, his surgery and after care were absolutely stellar. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart!

Yes sometimes the waiting is trying and discouraging. But Dr Alavian is nice, courteous, informative and honest. A pleasure amongst stoic physicians. Recommended

My husband has Dr. Alavian and I got kidney stones.I called him and he took me right away. I just love this doctor so nice,perfect bedside manner really cares.
