I have been a patient of Dr. Head for more than 10 years. She has a wonderful disposition, explains things clearly and is very thorough. It was her knowledge and insight that facilitated timely treatment for a complicated diagnosis. I refer everyone I know to her. The front staff can be a different story. You have to strongly advocate for yourself if you have an emergency because they have no clue about what constitutes an emergency and what is just a request.

Excellent doctor. Dr. Head takes the time to get to know you, and is very good at what she does! She has an excellent bedside manner and I trust her expertise.

the staff at the Johnston office was not pleasant & borderline rude. equipment was dirty and when I asked for a lens I was looking through to be cleaned I was told it was not dirty & then the doctor cleaned it as she saw it actually was dirty. she did not tell me why my prescription had changed and when I asked she talked to me as if I should know why in a condescending way. first time here, will not return nor recommend.

I just went to make my appt at Acuity and found she was gone! Very sad. Will follow her to Johnston.

Dr. Teresa Head is a great optometrist. She is friendly and informative. One of my favorite doctors, too bad she left Acuity vision.
