List of Robert Cicchelli's Reviews
Dr. Cicchelli has been my Primary Physician for about 30 years (also my wife's). I'm in my 80th year with a host of cardiac and other problems. His advice and referrals are always spot on and I remain in good health as a result. His expertise, knowledge, communication, and bedside manner are outstanding. His team: compassionate, friendly, efficient and personable. Five stars, highly recommend! Jan Whitford 17 Sep 2022
Dr. Cicchelli, Physician Assistant Aleah Kirchner and their peerless staff have always ranked at the top of our list of medical practitioners over the 60+ years we’ve been on this earth. Their collective warmth, expertise, efficiency, and sheer professionalism are second to none. We are privileged to call them our doctors and nurses. Now, I can say that Dr. Cicchelli and PA Kirchner saved my life. A healthy though overweight old guy, I found myself writhing in pain over several days. After three visits to an ER, the first on vacation and the second and third at home, all we knew was that this was likely not a kidney stone. The pain worsened and other awful symptoms emerged. PA Kirchner advocated for broadened blood tests that quickly revealed the presence of two tick-borne bacterial infections: Lyme and Babesiosis. I had no memory or evidence of having been bitten. Dr. C and PA K immediately prescribed three different antibiotics as well as some pain meds. Within 36 hours I began to be myself again. Two+ weeks later, I am still not there, but I closer every day. This has killed others in my age group. Best medical care I can imagine. Thank you all!
When I lived in RI , Dr. Cicchelli was the best doctor. Down to earth. Great bedside manner. If I didn't move back to Connecticut I would continue to see him.
Five stars , that’s all I need to say!
He has been my doctor for over 18 years and has been correct on every diagnosis and treatment . He was very helpful in my cancer treatment giving me information. And helpful advice. He is very responsive and a careful listener . He is always on time for my appointments
Dr. Cicchelli is kind and competent. He doesn't rush visits. Dr. Cicchelli gently pushes me to do the right thing for my health. Great follow up
Dr. Cicchelli has been my parents Dr. for many years and they loved him. When my Father passed away, Dr. Cicchelli went to the wake. He still cares for my 88-year-old Mother and she looks forward to seeing him. We have never had a bad visit.
I needed to find a doctor after mine, of 28 years, sadly died. I tried several other doctors, all of whom I found lacking. I finally was able to see Dr. Cicchelli and I find him to be thorough and compassionate. I completely disagree with previous reviewers who presented a negative picture. I think the office staff as well as the doctor are pleasant, efficient and attentive. I am grateful to have a primary care doctor who actually cares.
He's our family primary doctor. Couldn't ask for a more thoughtful, insightful, trusted, caring doctor.
Make sure you triple check your appt time. You may show up 10 min early just to find out you are 20 min late (d/t being told the wrong time). I took the day off to support him at one of his appointments. My husband has been in their clutches for 10 years too long. Recently, he has been battling something and sadly we can't figure it out. Dr. C and the Physician Assistant Aleah keeps chalking it up to "anxiety" and throwing different meds at him. With the way this world is I think they should be looking further into someone's "medical problem" to find out WHY they are getting these symptoms... instead they cover them with pills. I have pulled him from their practice and he is now being seen at my office. We are excited to finally get to the bottom of this and move past it

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
