We just came home from delivering our son this week. I cannot say enough about how amazing all the labor and delivery nurses, doctors and other specialists are. As first time parents we had no idea what to expect but they showed us kindness and understanding. We highly recommend this hospital and their team. Thank you for everything!

Pain medication refused for severe pain, stopped in for PCOS/ENDOMETRIOSIS pain, my girlfriend was doubled over in pain and the doctors gave her an NSAID and shipped us off to a specialist, this took 6 hours.

For a place who focuses more on taking care of people who arrives later than you and has less of a serious problem than you doesn’t deserve anything more than a 1 star. This place screams INEQUITY when it comes to any sort of fairness. South County Hospital simply does not care for your well beings enough to even feel welcomed here at all. Lastly, they give off ambivalent & prejudice vibes towards colored, and younger folks so if you’re in need of help, South County Hospital is definitely not a place to go because they lack everything a great hospital has to offer.

This Hospital has no 'best practice' in place for outpatient surgeries using a ride service, you will be bumped! Also, the in-hospital surgery patients WILL take your place because they make more money on those patients- they are preferred, period. I was there for over 10 hours for a surgery scheduled at 7AM BUT my surgery did not happen until after 2:45 in the afternoon and then I had to go to recovery! You will not know anything until the day (late afternoon!) prior to your surgery, whatever they say. As a Senior Citizen, I am disgusted to be treated in such a manner. We all matter. The volunteers there are the only nice thing about this Hospital. Overrated Hospital ! Shame!

I stayed at South County for 2 days following surgery. All I can say is WOW!! From Walking into the hospital until my discharge, the staff was great and the care and professionalism was top notch. If in the reception area, the operating room or in my room on the 3rd floor I have nothing but praise and gratefulness. I would recommend South County to anyone.

Went to hospital at 640 am and was taken in right away. Ran all sorts of test. Becky my nurse was so sweet and kind. Thank you all for your hard work as nurses and doctors.

June 22nd 2022 , had cervical Spine Surgery with Dr Madom and his team. By July 3 2022 . I was able to join my famiy gathering with the rest of my family . Thank you so much, for a life without pain .
