List of MIchael Gonzalez's Reviews
I've been with Dr Gonzalez for about 20 years now and I've NEVER had a single complaint about his treatment towards my medical conditions. He's knowledgeable, kind and his bedside manner is the best. Not at all a pill pusher, if he were I never would have referred my son to him. Thank you Dr.G and a shout out his awesome staff!
Great doctor! Down to Earth, compassionate, and genuinely cares for his patients.
I had hyperthyroidism and severe neck pain - another doctor wanted me to see a surgeon but I sought a second opinion with Dr. Gonzales - he correctly diagnosed me with subacute thyroiditis and placed me on steroids and nsaids due to severe thyroid swelling and pain. I got better and my labs returned to normal finally
I Have a history of CHF and Afib aside from diabetes saw Dr. Gonzales. He was well informed of the guidelines for CHF and reviewed my meds. He placed me on medications that would help with weight loss and reduce CV risk. My weight has decreased and I feel better. My a1c dropped from 10 to 6%. He is awesome
My first visit with Dr. Gonzales was great, but the most recent one? Not so much. I feel as if he doesn't take me seriously when I express concerns about side effects from certain medications. He recently prescribed me Actos which I remembered I didn't handle well before, I started experiencing horrible nausea, head-splitting headaches and more. I brought these things up to him and he quickly dismissed me saying that Actos doesn't cause these things, when I did my own research and they came up on the first page. It's made me feel as if I can't trust him. I've stopped the medication since it makes me feel worse. I'm not sure what I'm going to do.
I have severe osteoporosis and I didn’t take the advice of other doctors because I was scared. Dr. Gonzales listened to me and explained to me the choices for severe osteoporosis and gave me time to decide. He even spoke to my son and daughter and called them on the weekend. I chose this bone building drug and after 3 months my labs show I was making new bone. Dr. Gonzales really helped me a lot and showed patience and respect.
Dr. Gonzales placed an Eversense CGM which has helped me keep my sugars under control. With my pump and my CGM I have better control of my sugars
I have type 1 diabetes and do field work and insulin pumps and I don’t mix well. Dr. Gonzales put me on inhaled insulin and an eversense CGM and it has done wonders for my sugar control. I still inject tresiba. But I don’t have to worry too much about my highs or lows and about losing stuff at work
Was seeing another doctor and told I was type 2 because I was overweight. Pills didn’t work and I got really sick went to northern Nevada hospital. I saw Dr. Gonzales and he reviewed my history and got some labs and I came back a week later and he told me I was misdiagnosed as type 2 but I really had type 1 and LADA. He already suspected this based on my history and placed me on insulin 4 times a day but it has worked. He helped me get a glucose sensor and it has changed my life. Dr. Gonzales is awesome. He takes time with you. Listens to you but you have to listen to his recommendations because he knows his stuff. Hope he stays here because I would not be alive if he didn’t fix my diabetes
Dr. Gonzalez is a fantastic primary doctor. He is very professional, courteous, and compassionate. He does not over book like some other physicians and always spends plenty of time to talk with you. His honesty makes you feel like he genuinely cares about your needs and you do not feel like a number. Well recommended!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
