My wife had a seizure while out of state. We were referred to Dr. Donnelly for follow-up in RI, and we had her out-of-state medical records promptly sent to his office. He couldn't give us an appointment for three months, and when we arrived he asked "so what's up with you?." My wife said "don't you know? You've had my records for two months." His answer: "No. I don't waste my time reading those in case the person doesn't show up." Turns out my wife has very aggressive brain cancer. We'll never get those two months back.

Have always had a great experience with Dr. Donnelly. Had my first seizure several years ago at age 62. He did a complete evaluation and found the right medication and dosage for me. Happy to say I have been seizure free under his care. He is a great listener and answers all questions thoroughly (and I always have lots of them LOL!)

He makes his own predetermined judgement without LISTENING to what the patient says. For instance: For one patient, he stated that patient has NO hearing issues. Problem? Patient has hearing aids.

I saw Dr Edward Donnelly for 8 years! He had me on 1300 mg of Carbatrol for seizures and 25mg of Topomax for headaches. When I went to him last June complaining of the side effects, he told me the medication was working and I would have to live with the side effects! He did not do an EEG, Cat scan or any other imaging to figure out how my brain, hormones etc were doing. It is because of this experience that I fired him and got a second opinion.

Very detailed exam. Very impressed with Dr. Donnelly. I felt very comfortable with the doctor. Looking forward to working with him to resolve my issues. Highly recommended.

It pretty bad when I have to suggest to him what we should do as a next move to correct my issues.... this is NOT the way the medical field should work!

Dr. Donnelly has always been professional and extremely helpful as my doctor. The options he provided and his follow up have been very impressive. I am pleased to say that as my third neurologist he will be my last. I am that satisfied.

The doctor was amazing.i was nervous going in. His nurse cristina was so nice and comforting. She mace me feel welcome which was so great when stressed. The doctor explaind everything great and was wonderul. So happy with the doctor and his nurse

Even calling the office is a pain-calls are not returned. Had to call the Povidence office for results. Told the regular office -despite the fact it says so-can't take messages. My pharmacy had to wait a day for any response also. I do like this doctor but will try to switch locations .
