Now that the North Kingstown Adcare outbid Sstar detox, it's impossible to get in and they want more money even though it's exactly the same facilities and Tx it's always been. Take your money elsewhere.. Butler seems to be a much better facility these days...

Don't worry about the details, if this a nice place to stay or not?? Put your self first!! And dont worry about stupid little details and stuff that really doesn't matter. Life doesn't have a reset bottom. It's only 1 shot and we're out. So if your serious help recovery, adcare is the place to start your journey, they really help you and provide the necessary tools to begin this journey, it's up to us if we put in the work thats necessary necessary to stay sober and use the tools that adcare provide to continue the necessary steps. Adcare is not a 5 star resort and is not perfect but the staff really does care about you and tries there best with what corporate AAC gives them. You will find new friends, great support and fellowship. You will also laugh your butt off. Shout out to counselors Scott, Jess and Kate. You guys rocks, all The TA that have to put up with all the everyday drama. You all have a big heart. I would definitely go to adcare again if I had to or if I could travel to the past. I wanted to thank a few people that really took the time to consider helping me and and just going the extra mile Colleen my counselor and also Karen she was a big help as well. I also like to say thank you to Scott he was very helpful getting my sober Network started. Helping me get my meetings all organized and set up. He's just an all-around great guy. As a client of this facility I would highly recommend Adcare to anyone struggling with addiction and mental illness. The staff is over qualified and will find the root cause of your addiction as well as making sure you have an aftercare program well before you leave. I can’t stress enough you get what you put into this program. I couldn’t be more pleased with the kindness and compassion you will receive from all staff members. Everyone at Adcare, from the counselors to the housekeeping, were extremely friendly and helpful in my recovery. 10/10 would recommend

When I arrived at adcare it was not my first rodeo. for 20 years I’ve struggled with opiate addiction and have spent time in other rehabs in detoxes. Something was different with adcare. Maybe it was just my mindset and the fact that I was spending my 49th birthday in rehab but I knew that this time I had to make it work. I was about to lose everything I had worked my entire life for. My family was The first on the list to wanting to go. The staff at adcare treated me and every patient was kindness , caring and dignity. They were attentive to my needs and did not make anyone suffer needlessly. The only thing that I might change about the program was to give people a better foundation in the various programs available outside of adcare as well as putting people in a better position when they left. I felt that some people did not have enough of an after care program but that is also on the individual. I was well equipped when I walked out that door. And I owe that in a major way to the people that care! Adcare was excellent an experience. The staff was very good and helpful to me. I would recommend this awesome program to anyone struggling with addiction. The counselors were great. Scott was awesome and helped me get into my sober house. thank you adcare

By far the best rehab for any addiction I ever been to and I have been to a handful! My 30 days was easy as can be.... They let you keep your phone and give you whatever you need. You can smoke as well, go for a walk, whatever...
