Rehabilitation Hospital Of Rhode Island's Online Review Report Card

I was lucky enough to have been placed in this facility after a traumatic stay at the hospital. The staff here were amazing!I arrived not being able to stand or walk, & within a week's time, I was doing both. The therapists actually made it fun so you didn't feel like you were working that hard doing 3 hours therapy a day!! The food was pretty good too! I highly recommend this facility to anyone who needs rehab!

They ignored my husbands pain in his left arm for two days and refused to send him to the hospital. They finally did an EKG and saw he was having a heart attack. He ended ap needing emergency catheterization requiring three stents. Worst place imaginable. No compassion and understanding from medical staff and pain medication withheld for hours. PT and OT were great.

My mom went there about year ago. They were wonderful!! Thank you to the entire staff for taking care of my mom Ruth Tavares.Unfortunately, the nursing home she went to in Woonsocket almost killed her and she can now barely walk due to their incredible negligence. Again, thank you. She is home and safe.

Started out good for my son for short term rehab. Nice aptmosphere and people seemed to treat you good. That didn't last too long. Amazing how people can turn like night& day. Apparently after only couple sessions of therapy which went well they decided he needed more than they could provide. Without any notification to his family they just shipped him right back out to the hospital he was in. Didn't even say much for case management as well. They could have researched another place hat would be more suitable to his needs but did absolutely nothing for him just blew him off like he meant nothing as a person.Didn't even give him a chance. This was totally disrespectful to my son and his parents, completely unprofessional on their part not caring how their actions affected my son or that they didn't even give him a chance and also showed their incompetence in providing detail to how they treat people and because they don't know how to handle certain situations, instead of working through it with the family they just ship him off just like that without even caring. I definately would not reccommend this place to anyone looking for good quality care in a reputable establishment.

This place was absolutely wonderful. I have never had to stay in a rehab hospital before. The staff was wonderful. Nurses, CNA's and PT, OT were all great. They actually take the time to care for you individually. The rooms were so big! I was very impressed with the care I received.My only complaint was with the pharmacy division. One night they did not have enough of my sleep medication in stock so I could only take half of my dose which resulted in a very difficult night. The other times they did not have a simple multi-vitamin in stock. At least this does not result in withdrawals. Overall this was a great stay and prepared me well for my challenges at home! Thank you.

The website says 4-8pm visiting hours. I drove and hour and a half. Got there at 5pm and they would not allow me to see my grandmother because they said they changed the hours to 11-1. I work 8-3 everyday so how am i suppose to see her and why would you not change it online.

PT was awful still in pain and the therapist never finish there job, but yet they want to be paid.Be careful they are all about the money and not the care

My mom suffered from a stroke, honestly. she stayed with them for 4 weeks, the entire staff, nurses, CNA'S, doctor, therapist, case manager truly showed how much they love what they do and cared for mom.. can't thank them enough for the care they provided for my mom.

Nice caring people.

Can get xrays tests and mri's and cat scans without having to go to larger hospital. Its always fast and never been crowded when i go here. Update. No longer doing MRI and CT scans. Everything at landmark in Woonsocket now since they have new ownership.
