Dr. SHEMENSKY IS AWESOME! TOTALLY DOWN TO EARTH, UNDERSTOOD THE PROBLEM, EXPLAINED THE CAUSE IN LAYMEN TERMS, AND TOLD ME THE FIX WITHOUT COSTLY EXTRA STUFF THAT I DID NOT NEED! WONDERFUL.

I suffered a lisfranc fracture in my left foot about 4 years ago. It looked terrible. My regular podiatrist referred me to Dr. Shemenski. I went to Memorial, had a CT done, and then went to Dr. Shemenski's office. He had access to the films as soon as I got in the room. I am so grateful that I was referred to him. He decided not to do surgery, which would have required months upon months of recovery. His assessment was that the bones were displaced but not enough to warrant surgical intervention. It's now 4 years later, and I'd say he was right!!! It still took a few months to recover fully, but I think if I ended up with another DPM with lot's of surgical experience, I would have been operated on. Thanks!!!!

Dr. Shamenski did my ankle reconstruction and he did a great job. I am very pleased with his work and I will recommend anyone who needs a podiatrist to him. Oh and he did my ingrown toe nails and they healed wonderfully. And now I can show my feet. :)
