Al-Yacoub Motasem's Online Review Report Card

I have been going here just under a year but have had many appointments in that time. Dr Al Yacoub is very intelligent, kind and a great listener. I believe he is truly assisting in figuring out what may be causing some of my most debilitating symptoms and ruling out many things along the way.

He's a very bright, compassionate man.

Don't got there. Staff is unprofessional. Impossible to get an appointment due to incompetence.

I am not sure what it going on with this physician's office, but the staff needs to go. I have left over 7 messages, before an appointment that I had to confirm it seeing no one called me and never received a call back, then call the day of and no one picked it up, I have left 5 message there after 1 of them just now asking to call me back. The new front needs to go. Sorry but Dr. Al-Yacoub's office never ran like this in all the years I have been with him. Not sure if I should be looking for a new neurologist or what.

Dr. Al-Yacoub is perhaps the best listener I've ever encountered in the medical field. (And that is no small feat!) His exam was thorough, he's obviously quite knowledgeable, follow-up instructions were clear and made sense based on what we'd discussed, and on top of that he is just a very nice man. Likewise, his office staff. While they are certainly no less busy than any other doctor's office, there isn't any of the maddening Hurry-up-and-Stress that you encounter ubiquitously in healthcare these days. Again, just more of thorough and nice. Watching Dr. Al-Yakoub interact with his staff after my appointment told me everything I needed to know how this office is able to break the mold: Mutual respect, trust and kindness are afoot in this place. Can't help but rub off on patient care... Many thanks.

He is a fantastic neurologist. He is kind and will listen to you and help you along your journey. He is knowledgeable and shows concern for his patients. I highly recommend him if you're looking for a local neurologist.

I waited 12 days for someone to get back to me for an appointment only to be told the soonest one would be 4 months from now.

This Dr. And his assistant are the most compassionate people in the medical field you will ever find..Very intelligent and kind.I have been struggling with mobility issues for many years. I have been everywhere even Boston.This was the only place that went over and above to help me find some kind of relief.I would advise anyone looking for a neurologist to go here.You wont be sorry. I work with many different mds in the area as a community nurse. Dr. Al yacoub is excellent. He speaks with patients rather than the care giver and he spends time with them! I recommend him to anyone.

The NP is totally one of the best. Christine gets to know you, spends her time with you and really listens. I wish all in the medical field could be like her. I understand as years go on they get rough around the edges but if anyone in the Medical field reads this, please stay like her, we are people with feelings and want to be confident the doctor in charge knows us, cares, it means so much that you have a great bedside manner. The office, my goodness, works so hard💐 They are fabulous for the amount they do couldn’t be better. They too need our respect, kindness and understanding they deal with so many people. Together I think my Doctor has done a wonderful job picking his staff. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience. I’d give you ten stars.
