Worst OBGYN. Dr. Yvonne Wolny is always late (by at least an hour). She charged me for asking about my medical records which she DIDNT HAVE. I got an internal cut and she didn't keep a record of it. She wasn't able to diagnose my pelvic floor issues. Please stay away for your own health. If I could give zero stars I would.

I did not enjoy my visit with Dr. Wolny. I went in for a birth control consultation for an IUD and I left feeling ashamed. She is not very tactful about the way she speaks and she clearly has some conservative beliefs which she channels in her medical practice. I ended up going to a different gynecologist for my birth control needs.

I sat on the table in my gown for 35 minutes after I initially met Dr Wolny. Then the nurse came in, unannounced, and looked at me all confused as to why I was still there. She then grabbed the Doctor, who had evidently forgotten about me completely. Surely she had better things to do like study for her exam (because she was in Law School too?), which she proceeded to complain to me about for the duration of my visit. She didn't ask me if I had any concerns, any questions, no interest in really talking to me about my body at all. Basically, she told me I was fine and got out of there as quickly as humanly possible. I have never ever experienced such a terrible medical. I spoke to a friend a few months later about this terrible doctor's appointment I had, and she said she actually also visited Dr. Wolny, and had a similarly shocking experience. Based on the other reviews I see, this is no fluke. The doctor has ZERO bedside manner and doesn't seem to care at all about you. Do yourself a favor and look anywhere else. She made me regret the decision to leave Planned Parenthood to find a more permanent OB. At least at PP but they're always kind and communicative.

For the first time maybe in history somebody can say that, all things considered, they had a good time at the gynecologists. I came in for my first requisite "you're old now, get everything about you checked every year" and was completely freaked out. I told Dr. Wolny how I had no idea what to expect and was totally anxiety-ridden. She immediately cracked a joke and we had such a lovely chat I barely noticed I was naked from the waist down in front of a stranger. Dr. Wolny was quick, professional, and absolutely lovely. Billing was a breeze, and the receptionist was a doll. If you are freaked out for any reason, or really just want to have a good time getting tested for cervical cancer, I strongly suggest Dr. Wolny.

Her office staff is super friendly, competent, and organized. I appreciate people who are direct and to the point while still maintaining genuine customer service! I didn't wait long to see Dr. Wolny and she addressed all my needs patiently and diligently. Great office!

PLEASE trust the other reviews you see on this site. Dr. Wolny is a terrible doctor. I am relatively new to Chicago and had an urgent situation so I did not think to read reviews about her before booking an appointment and I learned my lesson.I saw Dr. Wolny for a total of six minutes. I was never asked about my family history until she questioned why I was so adamant about getting a pap smear, and that should have been a huge red flag as I have had to get additional tests due to a family history of cervical and ovarian cancers.She also dismissed my concerns and instead just referred me out to another doctor to get tests for an issue that, if it was what she told me it is, would have killed me three months ago. It was obvious she was just trying to get me in and out as soon as possible.I have never felt so unheard and humiliated by a doctor before. I left in tears because I am scared, felt ignored by a doctor, and now have to take on additional steps to get this issue sorted out by someone else. All I can say is: if you have another option for an OBGYN, take it.

Dr. Yvonne Wolny has been always professional, very knowledgeable and kind. I like coming to her always has time for me and the office has great location, very modern and comfortable. I'm very happy to have met Dr. Wolny and feel relaxed and in good hands. Definitely like to recommend Dr.Wolny. Joanna Chodakowski

Dr. Wolny has very poor bedside manner and tried to switch my birth control after being on the same kind for more than 5 years and had zero problems with. Her bills are also insane

Dr. Wolny is hands down the best doctor I have ever had! You can book online (SO AMAZING I hate calling doctors offices blah). She is so solution oriented and the smartest doctor I've ever had. She made me feel so comfortable and made everything quick and easy + she's hilarious. So happy I finally found my doctor!!

I had the absolute WORST EXPERIENCE EVER with this Dr. She had no idea what she was doing. I have had 3 IUD's Placed in my 40 years. She literally had me crying on her table. Just a big mess. Needless to say I have to go to another dr to get it placed because she could not place it. Never had I ever cried at an Gyne appt in my life. She was horrible and I don't recommend her to no one!!! I wouldn't even give her 1 star. She was very rough and just so horrible. Very sad that she is still able to work with patients after that experience I had.
