We traveled 600 miles thinking that the Director of the Temple Lung Center could certainly help my wife's Trachobronchialmalacia. Dr Abbas said "I can fix this" He performed a procedure on my wife which was not as he described to us and when her condition deteriorated he never answered our calls and foisted her off to his assistants who told her to go see a local pulmonologist even knowing we had seen several and they were unable to help.

Dr Abbas treated me with respect and performed my surgery removing the cancer mass from my lung. He explained everything and took the time to answers all my questions. His staff was outstanding as well.

Mean staff and clueless Dr. If you have to change your testing schedule for any reason, be prepared to be screamed at and hung up on. I'm serious. As for Dr. Abbas, he seems to have a punctuality problem - I waited 45 mins. for my appt., the second time it was a TWO HOUR WAIT! And after multiple tests and appointments, he tells me that my previously diagnosed problem doesn't exist (really? After 3 other doctors say otherwise) and refers me to yet another specialist. Good Riddance.

We had a horrible experience. He was kurt and rude. His staff was nice, he had two nurses that were great. I believe he is very skillful, but his bedside manor and insight on people was disappointing.
