Will be forever grateful to this man and his expetise..After a burst vertebrate my son is walking and leading a happy, successful life. That they share a birthday and love for the Lakers adds to their bond. Thank you forever Dr O!! From a grateful Mom ❤️❤️❤️
He is one of the most caring and helpful doctors I have been to he took me on as a patient after someone else did surgery. And he's trying to help me the best he can I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Oyelese is the reason I am walking today. I was in a severe car accident, and he caught a burst fracture on an MRI that was missed twice by other Drs. The resulting surgery that he performed was extremely complex, 12+ hours, but here I am, forever grateful that he was on rotation that night all those years ago.
Dr. Oyelese performed my L5-S1 fusion in 2007. He must have done an amazing job because the hardware is still holding up. Unfortunately, the navy wouldn't pay for a prosthetic disc replacement on the one above that, which has degraded since and is now dessicated. If I were still in the area, I absolutely would return to him for the L4-L5 issue I'm having now.
Such a great neurosurgeon. Does a great job and awesome bedside manner.
I was on a downward trajectory with stumbles, falls, and increasing leg weakness due to a spinal cord injury. I met with Dr Oyelese following a series of referrals to learn about treatment options. Dr O was very frank about risks and potential benefits from a surgical option. He did the surgery in October, 2021 and after 6 weeks I am seeing improvements, both neurological and muscular. In my two days of hospitalization following surgery Dr O visited me three times and follow-up with his PA after discharge has been very helpful. I highly recommend Dr Oyelese and his team.
I Believe a Doctor Can Only Be As Good As the Knowledge He Posses. After Suffering an Electrical Shock Years Ago. I was told You will be A Different Patient. Doctors not Familiar with Your Symptoms and Without Gaining More Knowledge of Lightning Patients You will be A Challenge this being told by My First Neurologist who Had A Couple of Patients that Experience Electrical Shock Patients. After Reading about Dr Oleyese I was Convinced He would be A Light to my Darkness. But it was the Opposite. I didn’t feel Any Cone toon or Belief in what he Said to me. I thought he Was Kind of Uninterested. I get that from Drs. Who Can’t figure Me Out. But I guess he did the best he Could but He Even Sounds Confused. I don’t know it’s Either get a 2nd Opinion or Live with the Problems I Guess. I just am Confused because I left with No Resolution not Even Any Suggestions. I felt it was just a long Silence when talking and Asking Questions and that’s Confusing to Me. So I know Someone Can Help. I have a Great Team of Drs. In my Corner 15 years plus. That will Figure it out. But this Was not What I Expected. Next time it’s To the ER I go. ??
Dr Oyelese is a great guy and a amazing Doctor! He is going to do what is best for his patient, even when his patients feel they know more than he does. I'm that patient! He took the time to make me understand, why he was doing what he was doing and why he was doing it the way he was doing it. It's because of him and his team, that I have been able to have a better functioning life.
I couldn’t walk around the block and had surgery with Dr Oyelese who was great. Can walk a couple of miles a day now. He was kind, thoughtful and professional. He is what you want a dr to be. Thanks for my mobility Dr O!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
