THIS SO CALLED DOCTOR IS A MAN WITH A STONE HEART. TOOK ADVANTAGE OF A HUMANBEING WHO WAS FIGHTING A RARE AGGRESIVE CANCER. HAS NO RESPECT FOR PATIENT NOR THE PRIVACY OF HIS PATIENTS

My mom was recently diagnosed with lung cancer, and Dr. Birnbaum handled the entire appointment wonderfully. His approach to delivering such devastating news was so gentle, and his concern and empathy was genuine.

Dr Birnbaum is brilliant, honest and compassionate- qualities that one doesn't often find together in oncologists. He is, also, empowering. He discusses the illness, and offers options to the patient, in terms of treatment, making sure we're both on the same page. His question Are the side effect worth it? pretty much sums up his approach, He deals with not only prolonging life, but prolonging quality of life. I travel from North Carolina to see him. I guess that says it all.

My Mom has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer. As you can imagine this is very stressful for her and our family. Dr. Birnbaum has displayed nothing but empathy and concern for her care. He is very calm which is helpful to us. I would recommend him to others in a heartbeat. His professionalism is second to none as well as his honestly.
